Love these DM-East videos, and also the farm itself. Takes me back to various stealth farming I did in various tbc dungeons. Varied, well paced and rewarding, so much better than all the other farms I have tried out in classic so far as a rogue! I love that even after my having done this run for 30+ hours already, I still learned a couple of things in this video [namely how to pick a couple herbs I didn't think I could]. It kind of inspires me to want to throw a few tips to you about the run, from my experience with it. Everything with a grain of salt of course, but I hope I say something here that sticks! 1- Strongly recommend alt invite resets. There are a number of reasons for this. You get to keep your buffs and if you manage your time well you can use those 2 minutes on the alt to some good purpose [posting auctions is the most likely candidate]. It also lets you work the dungeon from front to back which to me is such a better path. I start at the back door, clear through and then work inside the dungeon to the front door, leave, reset and do alt resets for the remaining 3 resets per hour. 2- If you use the front to back pathing, when you enter the instance and are about to drop down, look over to the lasher pack across the way. There is a book spawn there. You are not interested in looting it [you can't, in fact, without killing a large angry tree]- but if you see it there you can safely ignore book spawns for that run, as I have never seen 2 book spawns in a run, I dont believe it is possible. 3- Consumables. I certainly would not advocate loading up on them, but Elixir of greater agility is sooo cheap [free to a herbalist really 1 sungrass 1 goldthorn] to make, that I strongly advocate using one. I also use a defense elixir as well, perhaps that is overdoing it though. 4- On the chest that you refer to as the most difficult one- I recommend standing close in to the pillar rather than far away from it like you do [when you are on the ledge]. When the satyrs are near you, hit sprint and jump straight at the chest , vanish a second after you land and click that chest asap. Even if you get dazed you have more than enough time to loot the chest and jump into the corner nearby to restealth [I am combat so longer stealth cd = corner needed for me]. Also I fully expect that you know this, but for everyone else, when you loot the chests with autoloot, you really only have to stand still for 1s after opening them, no need to sit there while the loot scrolls in front of you, this info comes in handy on this chest in particular as you are never far ahead of the return of the satyrs! 5- I stopped looting pods for a while. I regret it. I sell soo much tuber food everyday, my backlog is dissappearing quickly these days. Horde that food! 6- I only bother with the last floor if I have been powering through and am way ahead of my reset timers. Yeah I lose a couple gold on ghost mushrooms, but time is money and I dont think the 4 minutes is worthe the 2g in shrooms and 1g in satyrs drops. Entirely possible I am doing it wrong there, just food for thought! 7- Be sure to check the dire maul arena from time to time. Never know when Mushgog or the others might spawn. I am sure we can agree that Mushgog spawns are rather desirable to be aware of! That is all I have for now, but I hope there is something of value in that rant for you sir, you help us all so much, really hoping I can even a tiny bit return the favour!! The herb spot in the start that you couldn't pick without a gouge is actually pickable without getting into combat - the mob that guards it periodically walks down to column just far enough for you to distract him and pick a herb.

Wenn Elementarfeuer bei dir auch so teuer ist (auf Venoxis 10G), solltest du mal in BRD die mobs Farmen. Nebenbei noch schön pick Pocket, schafft man 100g/std und das schöne ist das geht auch zu 2. und man macht trotzdem 100g pro Kopf, zu 2. ist’s wenigstens nicht so langweilig.

@@Defilerx Wenn du solo bist kannst du nur die einzelnen Elementare killen oder vllt mal Gruppen mit 2-3 Elementaren drin, wenn du einen Zwerg sappst und alle CDs ready hast. Bzw die 2er Packs vor Lord Incendius gehen auch solo, wenn man gutes Equip hat. Ansonsten geht's wahrscheinlich auch wirklich besser, wenn man das ganze zu zweit macht, hab gestern mit nem Kollegen (double rogue) innerhalb von 3 Stunden 57 Elementarfeuer gefarmt und es war echt lustig im Vergleich zu anderen Farmmethoden.

That one dreamfoil between the lashers and the deathlash before the hallway I can pick it without aggroing if you step over the rock in a certain way on my TAUREN shaman so I know its possible since I do it on a giant cow. You don't need distract but it def helps!!!

Another really good rogue farm is RFD with herbing and enchanting. Tons of Grave Moss and Small Radiant Shards. I just did 5 runs and got 68g in value. There are 4 Grave Moss spawns, which can all give 3 Grave Moss each, then you kill 3 bosses (Skeleton thingy, Patchwerk looking guy and the last boss) + chance for a rare boss. So that's 3 Shards (more like 2.5, because Patchwork dude can drop a green item). Last boss usually drop blue+green item, but can drop 2 blues. So in a best case scenario you get 5 Small Radiant Shards and 12 Grave Moss. On my server that is (5*2.6)13g+(12*.5)6g=21g. But I average at around 13g each round.

And to answer your question... no, BRD PP can't outpace this. It was 50g/hr IF you DIDN'T get unlucky resists, and it's extremely APM heavy. BRD PP grinding was the single most exhausting thing I've ever done in WoW.

Note that the "difficult" chest in the Belf room cant be done for combat rogues. Without the talent "Camoflage" we cant re-Stealth fast enough before the satyr we shot right by the chest comes back, i tried it this morning.

Frost!! Since your first video on the subject I started running for chests and it has been very good to me. I sold an undeath -> water for 750g and a greater arcane for 500g. I was wanting to ask you what you think about non-herbalists. I've been entering at the southern end of warpwood quarter and just going to chest / casters in the top room. I skip the stealthers where I can (hiding on tight corners) but I was wondering if you think there is a more optimal strategy considering no herbs. Thanks for working on this one! I am really interested to see what else you come up with for rogues. I like this strat because no competition (I would do arcane crystals in silithus but don't want to go pvp spec and this way I get lots of other stuff like librams I need and enchanting mats).

Frost, you had a lot of reeeeally unnecessary 1-3pt finishers in here. Every time you hit a 1-3 pt kidney or evis for no reason, you spent your next few seconds auto attacking while energy starved. My advice is to slow it down. No need to spam to 0 energy. Plan out your energy use, and CPs, and you'll very easily get 2-3 5pt finishers per mob.

You *can* solo pusilin, lethendris and hydrospawn for sure as a rogue, however there is no way it is worth the effort [and consumables likely] involved.

Jump Smash Yeah the trick is to engage, burn down imp as fast as possible and vanish. Then when your cooldowns are back (ya might not even need to wait), just engage her alone. I think there is a cast she does that you want to kick, but my recollection of doing it a couple months ago was that she was very easy with imp gone.
