Classic wow is like sleeping with your hot family member it sounds fun to think about but you just feel so dirty doing it. Van was only "good" at the time because it did things no one was doing. Oh you die? That's cool just run back to your body and try again. Where almost all MMO's out at the time if you died you'd lose hours, days, even weeks of xp. They had so many things the re re way dungeons and other "raid" bosses where out side where anyone could walk by and mess with your guild doing it. Hell some guilds had people camping spots 24/7 just to get a boss kill. Wow changed the way everything was done that's why it was so good back then but it's so dated now and just old. Yes it's so fun spending 2 months just hitting 60 then you got other 2 months of gearing and getting atun for everything then to even raid you have to spend 2+ hours getting world buffs and you better hope the other 39 people do the same. It's just way to much now. You get stuck playing some meta spec or els you'll never get invited to anything.

I was a tbc andy in 2007 and it took my holy priest 6 months to level back then, didnt realise at the time the difference between healing specs and dps specs, mix in a lot of afking in stormwind and shatt and generally being lazy/hating questing. Since classic has rolled around, I stock piled 1000s of pristine black diamonds while the paladins were farming strat and they were down to 1g in classic and tbc to resell and thought f it, I have all these diamonds, ill go for the insane and felt pretty good achieving it. Sorry for ranting but this is my small story of the types of players that played back then and who they are now and we arent the same people. Vanilla was made for shit gamers, when you play something for 15 years and get good at it and go back to how it was, theres no wonder that its gonna be a super cheese mode, low skill cap game cuz that was our baseline when we were noobs.
