Prolly the biggest strength of the paladin isn't even brought up in the video. They synergize well with every other class. The best paladins I've ever grouped with will always adapt strats to match the class they partner with. They even synergize well with other paladins. Shamen and Druids come in close second. But in my experience, paladins are the kings of partner play.

I'm rolling holy pally as my main and my long term plans are to become an OP support class in bgs, I'm putting absolutely no focus on damage, and pouring all of my talents and effort into defense & healing. Any decent paladin who played during classic WoW knows of Zalgradis. His ret prot hybrid build made him able to solo players like Grimm and could 1v4 easily in world pvp. Try to emulate him to do exceptionally well at classic paladin

@@gulc im literally using skullflame right now, my combat log isn't lying. Additionally, the total damage from demon forged breastplate gets 0.5 of your spell damage, so that's almost as handy as skullflame Wraith scythe scales 1:1, but procs pretty rarely, so at low spell damage you'd be better off using flurry axe, once you get somewhere over 140 spell damage wraith scythe might be more useful

Always hear about the dispell weakness but the fact is that 80% of pvp'ers are rogue or warriors. shaman+pristests combined are like 10% of the pvp pool.

Unfortunatley the whole recknoning part of the video is incorrect, all it does now is reset your swing timer and ia no longer a stackable buff, on private servers it works in the old stacking to 5 but not in classic.

It works, im killing hordes all the time by stacking reckoning. What you need to do is sit and sidestep up just as the enemy hits you, then it will proc a crit every time.

The marko got fixed and the sit+sidestep method now require perfect execution because the timegates were made smaller as with av release. Right now reckoning is the worst pvp specc and I myself got more succes in retri and holy. Sadly....

12 min stockades runs with bottom end gear can turn into sub 6 minutes run with top end gear! People shame stockades runs as a gold making strategy but you tell me a better option then 60 gold an hour with no rng involved. It’s a pallys secret power: aoe grinding

I'd recommend swapping over to a consecration aoe build(usually prot) I regretted not using that while lvl'ing my pally. Sure the ret build is better for solo quest lvl'ing speed(emphasis on quests, pure grinding the aoe build pulls ahead). But damn is it fun to pull 5-10 mobs at a time and kill em all after you've been stuck auto attack 1 target at a time for hours on end. Not to mention the dungeon god prot pally is, invite all the mages and warlock, tell em to go nut with aoe, no one holds aoe aggro as good as a pally(not til warriors have insanely good gear at least) Slap that shield on, spec into consecration, put spikes, ret aura and any other reflect damage you come across and aoe shit down while seal/judge of light/wisdom keeps your mana and hp up.

@@WondderWaffel Exactly! Not to mention how absurdly good prot pallys are at kite tanking. Get some speed enchants, and some slow speced aoe mages and boom you can basically pull infinite amounts of melee mobs.

Mage into paladin as an alt seems like the wtg. Mage out bags and gold to a paladin as an alt that is 100g ahead of other alts besides warlock. Healing equiv dungeons and carrying lower dungeon groups with reflect damage with no need to constantly respec seems nice.

spellret is amazing. im doing 4-600dps in raids using rank 8 pvp gear, imp SoR, consecrate, blade of hanna (you can use brain hacker too), gnomergan mace, and consumables. super easy. super amazing. and GOD TIER in pvp. you dont even need to get t2 (lets face it, most people dont raid).

Sorry for a newbie question, but how exactly does Reckoning work? I have 4 points in it and still never see the buff (I expect it to be among the buffs icons that are displayed for your character). I am being crit consistently (I know it cause i regularly see the redoubt buff) but never see the Reckoning icon. Or does it work automatically - like you have been crit -> you receive the buff that is not displayed -> and the next autoattack discharges the buff?

@@shadevp8924 yup... with each crit when you hear the redoubt proc pAy attention to your white hits... u get an extra one on that next swing... only if u dont swing you stack them. You can also check the battle log... you will see 2 white hits or autos when you get crit. Try to pull a bunch of mobs and get seal of light... then u lifeleech a lot as you get hit a lot and therefore crit... lotsa fun :)

Jasmin Poljak I agree, however, leveling a Druid mostly consists of cat form and just a few attacks with a heal thrown in as needed. It grows old quick. Got a 60 Druid myself. A Druid has a TON of abilities but so few are utilized in PVE. Now PVP is another story and that’s where the toolkit shines for a Druid.

You should look into Ret spec PvP, 12/7/32. Its the way to go. It is gear dependent. Rank 14 gear or equivalent if you want to be OP. The PvP gear obtained through BG Rep rewards will outfit you for a decent experience. Engineering as a profession to add stuns and disrupts and you will be good to go. Sadly, you will have to steal many trinkets and capes from warriors so you may lose some friends.

Playing a Paladin to your strengths: Step 1) Holy. Step 2) Group with Warriors. Step 3) Spit on Ret Paladins and call them worthless. Paladins are the best healers in the game, and hands down no argument the best pvp healers. Also, know how you can make more money than doing something stupid like stacking damage enemy on hit gear and AoE paladin farming? Going Holy and grouping with someone to kill mobs... I have farmed five eyes of shadow and sold each for 300g+ as Warrior/Holy paladin team. Or, make a Mage/Warlock alt and do DM:E. Why do people insist on doing inefficient stupid shit for the meme value? Lastly, its a social game, wouldn't you rather group with a real dps as a healer and crush in pvp/pve than solo AoE farming weak mobs?
