Every other video I've seen about druids in classic actually say that heart of the wild build is great for raiding because the 20% extra int is huge and you still get the main things in the resto tree.

Scarlet Spellbinders drop the Crusader enchant recipe. The archmages don't drop them until sometime after 2.0, during the BC pre-release event (I think that's the patch). 5:40 Heart of Fire, often dropped by the high-end mobs that also drop elemental fire, can be transmuted into 3 elemental fire with only a 10 minute transmute cooldown. I know on my server, elemental fire just sells quicker than hearts presently in Phase 1 Sourced from Classic Wowhead, and also farming crusader off of Spellbinders.

I guess in addition, I think you should have covered Balance still, even for end-game when druids are considering going healing spec for dungeons but don't want to be completely gimped for world content. While bleeds don't work on elementals (which sucks as feral when farming them for coveted materials), Starfire and Moonfire still have effect. It wasn't really covered how effective a dungeon geared balance (or) balance/resto hybrid could function, but even playing around with the talent calculator, you can poke into Moonkin form at the cost of slight healing gains, or get better healing at the cost of raw damage (dependent on how your ideal resto talent set-up looks though, this may not be possible to spec into hybrid much.) Mana is not an issue (short term) in most dungeons since most casters drink after every pull/every other pull giving druids ample time to drink for themselves, though heavy pushback in solo content might be an issue when casting chain starfire. A druid with mana consumables (mana potions and demonic runes) will definitely fare better if they have access to alchemy and satyr farming, with the potions being easily farmed as druids are able to get to herb nodes quicker and without much less interruption (via entangling roots and hibernate). The major downside to Balance druid is still gear, as most caster DPS gear is cloth rather than leather, and presently in phase 1 of classic WoW the druid dungeon set is kind of ass. I think if someone really wants to be a caster druid, it's totally plausible up until raiding (unless the raid lead doesn't mind a little less damage), and that the strengths of these other druid options should have been explored. - - - I know these videos are taxing to make, especially when you take on -every- class and a lot of variables come into play with leveling, end game farming, and then end game content shaking up a lot of builds, but I beg of you to please consider showing off an Elemental shaman build, especially with elemental mastery (which apparently makes for some swift kill times at level 45). Even if it sucks in long encounters, like druids, I want to see the viability of them for leveling/end game farming.

As a druid on a PvP server. I feel that farming the elementals in Un'Goro is a very strong gold farm. Obviously better with mining/herb, but even without the spacing of spawns is ideal for the druid ST cat rotation.The spacing between each spawn is such that you'll never aggro multiple, but never travel >4sec between spawns mostly. Also, there are several spawns where you can use charge to skip a few seconds of walking.

Good vid, very feral dps heavy. Would have been nice to talk on the EASE (And I mean serious Ease) in gathering pre-raid BIS, tanking dungeons and rolling on healing gear. Make sure to notify your grp before hand. Then you're a geared healer rdy to go and pick up Druid gear cause there's only 1-2 per raid. Anyway I'm rambling. Great vid

The Archmages in EPL can NOT drop the Crusader enchant pattern; that was added in in TBC. The only ones that can drop it are the Scarlet Spellbinders in WPL. Tyr's Hand is still a great farming spot though, especially with a friend or two for faster kills

this is the first I'm hearing that the Scarlet Archmages can drop the Crusader Enchant. After doing a quick search everyone who says it drops seems to be on the 2.0 patch so I'd like to see some source that shows that they actually drop it on this patch

There are very few videos about people like me, the filthy casuals who never farm and we are actually the majority of players. Many of us old timers do not have the time required to farm and it becomes increasingly difficult to do dungeons due to time restrictions. We do all the fun stuff, questing and grouping for what is readily available at the spot we are currently active in. After a max of one hour real life always come knocking, it´s either the kids, the wife or other trivial but nevertheless important tasks to maintain various relations like f.ex. helping my neighbour with his stupid house which is falling apart. I meet a lot of people like myself, we are the ones who won´t get a mount till at least lvl 50 and tonight I actually had to spend my gametime "farming" for a pair of Nightscape Boots, that took about an hour of killing wolves in Feralas but unfortunately I didn´t quest. Did I mention earlier that I never farm? Well, I guess there are a few exceptions now and then. Liked the video nevertheless and got a bit wiser about the druid, the only class I really didn´t touch back in 2004.

So boring hearing people say "Druids aren't even close to the best" and then when you pop in to raids you just max rank regrowth/rejuv the tanks and top heals.. Ya'll are clueless. stop saving your mana bosses die in 1-2 minutes just go crazy, it's expensive to top heals as a druid but it's also easy.

Druid in vanilla was the only class that wasn't stat or gear optimized for max level. Which made resto the only viable spec in raids. You try and do ferlawl or oomkin in raids you will never top dps charts and you can't keep up with other better optimised classes.

Druids insta win against frost mages, the only time a mage wins is if there speced fire your immune to poly and semi immune to movement imparing effects Wich is a frost mages 2 main tools

Aaron ShadowHunter true, but a really good frost mage can beat a feral Druid. Mage can outlast with his mana pool far longer than a Druid + innervate. Classic power shifting is so mana hungry, it’s sad. Even with all that said, I still play nothing but a Druid.

@@markisfish4489 if the druid is stacking int as they should be, with heart of the wild they get 1 extra int per 5 int and I've found that wearing feral gear actually doesn't increase my DMG so I'll wear int gear while farming in open world
