I was fairly shocked when one of my high school teachers pointed out that most, if not all, of the music in the Looney Toons (Bugs Bunny, etc.) we grew up watching was actual classical music. So that’s why so many people recognize these tunes but often can’t name them.

Yes!

That's because there is no copyright on classical music so it was used in movies and TV all the time

The low voice from Cesar was actually Layne, the high voice was Rachel..... I recognized all of the music, but can't name them to save me! Layne's brain just works on a different level.
@StormTehSinner6 ай бұрын
Correction: The low voice was Geoff. Cesars character stole their voices with the magic, you can even see it in the video. ;-)

@@StormTehSinner In their chat this week, they said that it was Layne's voice doing the singing. Cesar's action was "stealing" Geoff's voice, but Geoff did not sing that part. Rachel did sing the part Cesar stole.

Another piece of A capella genius by Voiceplay. Also a fun thing to wake up and start my day to Red reacting to it (I wonder if the Aussie's among us should start calling her Blue or Bluey - Aussie slang for a red head 😂). I loved when they did the little Habanera bit. The guitarist in me says check out Marcin Patrzalek's instrumental version of it. Great reaction I was entertained. 😂

That was fun. Thanks, Red.

I will also mention that most of my classical music exposure happened at a young age via Looney tunes cartoons. And my two all time cartoons are What's Opera, Doc? And The Rabbit of Seville.

They always seems to have a lot of fun. I think you'd be amazed how much classical music we do actually know but couldn't name. From cartoons and tv shows to commercials to parts used in many songs (c u when u get there by coolio for example) That part that is famous for the can-can brought back childhood memories! A group called Bad Manners did an instrumental ska version of the can-can tune and performed it (well mimed it) on tv complete with their huge bald headed singer in one of the dresses the women in the can-can wore and big laced up doc martin boots. I kid you not. 😂Great times.

Continuation of In The Hall of the Mountain King. Same costumes different forest. This took two days. One for rehearsal and one for filming in costumes and prosthetics. Layne and Tony built the forest for PattyCake Productions The Villains Lair. Cesars voiceover was Layne bass and Rachels voice.

Great reaction🙂. If you pay attention, during the fur elise part Cesar is stealing Goeff's voice and Rachel's next. That's why he sounded like that 😁

It showed Cesar stealing Geoffs voice but it was actually Layne doing the low voice.

Most of us can't put the "tune" to the composer or name of the actual piece.... but we hear these in movies, commercials, and cartoons! This is a really fun piece. I think their earlier "In the Hall of the Mountain King" is a bit better, but this covers more 'ground.' Great reaction, Red, as always!

This is the sequel to VoicePlay's Halloween video from a couple of years ago, In the Hall of the Mountain King. Same characters (makeup and costumes), except Rachel is a new addition - the original had Elizabeth Garozzo as the featured artist. A childhood of watching Loony Toons prepared me to be able to recognize nearly all of these songs! Since this is all being lip-synched over the original studio recordings, when Cesar (red guy) stole the bass voice (actually Layne, from what I've read, not Geoff) and Rachel's voice, he was literally just lip synching their voices instead of his own.

If you watch carefully you see see Cesar stealing Geoff's voice and then Rachel's, to sing low and high. Of course this is done during the sound recording, not during filming. The tunes are all listed in the credits.
@PAT8888-is2pd6 ай бұрын
How did he do that? He didn't that was actually Geoff and Rachel.

When Cesar 'stole' first Geoff's voice and then Rachel's, they of course voiced it and Cesar mimed them. It was brilliant though.
