Thank you for this video! It was so helpful to me. Can I ask what size binders you used?
@emilythehomeschooler2 жыл бұрын
I use 2 1.5 inch binders to divide the curriculum in half and I have a 1.5 inch binder for my student.

Thank you for this! If you have multiple children doing essentials....can you scan and print the student portions again without buying another student one?

Even better, the student packet is on CCConnected as a PDF to make it super easy to make copies.

Do you recommend the IEW TEACHING WRITING STRUCTURE AND STYLE ( DVD & PREMIUM CONTENT) for newbies to help comprehend this technique ?
@emilythehomeschooler7 ай бұрын
Most definitely. It is a key part of being successful with the program. Each community owns a set of those DVDs and holds group viewings so you don’t have to own your own set if you don’t want to. Contact your director or essentials tutors to learn more about that.

Is it possible to try CC for half a semester starting out to see if that will work. I’m trying to get my mind around how to incorporate CC with our already existing TG&TB curriculum.
@emilythehomeschooler5 ай бұрын
You cannot pay for a partial year, but you can certainly drop out if it isn't working for you. It would be best to stick it out for the entire year before making a determination but certainly you can do what you want.

Since you have two binders, did you order a second set of dividers?
@emilythehomeschooler2 жыл бұрын
no. CC sends all of the dividers, you see in this video, with the curriculum.
