I met Mr. Yankovic in Disneyland in 2009. Extremely nice and polite. He even introduced me to his wife Suzanne and daughter Nina. I guess he was nice to me because when I saw him I called out “ Hey , Al!” he turned around and said “Yesssss?” I just said nice to meet you, I’m a big fan. Not original but I was just surprised he turned around and introduced me to his family and wished me a fun day in the park 💕💕💕 What a gentleman!

It's not like he needs attention anymore in any case, he's made all the money and got all the fame anybody could want. While I wouldn't trust a lot of other celebs this way, in this case I think, in absence of further evidence, I'll take it at face value: he released a cool accordion tune because he had extra time, wanted to make people happier, and correctly thought this would do it.

Weird Al proves that one man and his accordion can bring joy to the world in these tough times we are all facing. I have loved Al since I was 7 and heard 'Eat It' for the first time. I was an odd kid, and there was something about Al I instantly connected with. I have bought almost every record and watched almost any show or movie with Al in it. Heck, I even went and saw UHF in the theatres with my mom. It was a double feature along with the Pheobe Cates 1960s set film 'Shag." I just came to see UHF and skipped the other film.

I think we got blessed with both. Sometimes like we stole them. This country(U.S.) needs more lighter comedy now. Even before the COVID pandemic.

Sometimes I forget that Al is first and foremost a professionally trained accordionist. His raw talent blows me away. I stand in awe as a 34 year old man in the same way I did when I found him when I was 10. God bless Weird Al Yankovic. He is the centermost stone in out nation's crown jewels.

You're the man, Al! You can always put a smile on someone's face! You've gotten through the last 20 years of being a father, multiple deployments overseas, hell even multiple marriages! Even now, I recently had Rotator Cuff Surgery, and can't sleep. So who's there for me at 11:30 at night? Good old Al! Haha! I bet he never though recording a parody of Queen onto a cassette and sending it to Dr demento would get him this far! I remember first hearing in back in 1980 or so and having a good laugh. I'm so glad Al was successful, he's definitely a bright spot left over from the 80's. i have to say I never though I'd hear someone playing classical gas on the accordion, yet here it is.

It is easy to forget, with a focus on the comedy, that what he does requires serious musical capabilities. He plays every style really well. He was into Nirvana before they were cool. He was actually annoyed they weren't cool enough to cover and when they started getting radio play and he thought he could sell their parody, he called Kurt. Kurt said that was the moment he realized he had made it.
