Hello MooMoos!!! If you couldn't already tell from the backdrop and video quality (and the fact that Sam and Raffi are in this video), this video was meant to be uploaded last year as part of Season 5 of this series, but I had gotten over-excited and overbooked the ending of that season. I wasn't sure if we'd ever release this reaction due to the many audio difficulties we had during the shoots, but since MAMAMOO is touring in the US right now, I wanted to edit and release this video while getting hyped up to see them perform Make Me Happy in LA!!! I watched Mamamoo on their opening show here in NY for their US Tour. Having been an avid fan for years now, I still cant believe I watched them live. It was the best performance ever. I love them so much.

I love the MV for Make Me Happy because it's the same itinerary twice but if you pay attention to the details, it's building up, there are more colours, more butterflies, more flowers until it's very abundant, overflowing. Listening to this with the musicians made me realise: the MV is reflecting what the song does, it starts out quiet and they keep adding sounds, synths, guitar. I love that!

YES! I didn't notice the first few times I watched the MV, but first time through (:30 of MV) the ceiling lights turn on with each snap, and then 2nd time through (1:44), the lights are already on but they flicker with each snap 😭❤️ they put soo much thought and so many small, beautiful details into the MV!

Reactions from musicians is soo different cause if you are just an avid kpop fan reacting to your idol's new song it'll just mostly be on how pretty they are or how good their voice sounds, music video etc BUT this! I needed google's help to understand what theyre saying 😂 Thank you for recognizing Wheein's talent! She really poured her soul to make this album and she really has a great voice❤

From one Moomoo to another - this is perfect timing!!! I've been binging on our girls (more so than usual) in preparation for their concert and wanted something new that WASN'T concert related. This song is so fun, warm and fuzzy. Easy is still my fave. I love that strong, swaggy side of her, but this song just makes me melt every time. PS Love you're content 💕

As a person who don't have in depth knowledge with music, the description of the instrumentation is so cool! It makes me appreciate the song more! They mentioned in Instrumental Pacing on how Make Me Happy is a slow-build song and it kinda just stayed (9:10); and I thought, that's what the lyrics of the song is about! Slowly getting to know a lover and then falling deeper in love. So cool!

I’ve been waiting for this reaction for a HAWT minute; turn it upppp‼️‼️‼️ I found “Make Me Happy” in the fall of last year; I wish I would have found the song sooner. “Make Me Happy” is one of the very few songs I would call perfect in all aspects, from the vocals to the composition, the concept, and the visuals. I especially liked how the reactors pointed out the possibility of grouping different instruments together instead of continuously layering new things on top of the old; now I want to hear what that different grouping would sound like. I think what makes this song so special is that “Make Me Happy” is an excellent example of finding *beauty in complexity.* I have noticed that when music artists release a song that is more sentimental or personal, they choose to make the song very simplistic in terms of composition, putting the entire job of communicating the song on the voice. While there is beauty in simplicity, all parts of the music should work together to communicate the message of the song. “Make Me Happy” is a perfect example of beauty in complexity.
