*Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni* - Sonata a tre in G Minor, Opus 6, Mi 26, Movement II. Adagio, is a famous contemporary neo-baroque adagio for organ, string instruments, and basso continuo, composed by the Italian composer musicologist Remo Giazotto (1910-1998). Originally composed for string quartet, the Adagio quickly gained recognition for its sensational effect on contemporary audiences. This composer was a specialist in the Baroque work of the 18th century by Tomaso Albinoni, a completely forgotten musician. Giazotto relied on a fragment of a church sonata (sonata da chiesa) one of the two standard forms of trio sonatas belonging to Albinoni's opus 4 dating from 1708. The elements were said to have been found in the ruins of the Dresden Library partly destroyed by the Allied bombing in World War II in March 1945. Giazotto is said to have identified a leaf of a few bars of a violin line from a church sonata on the aforementioned date. This point which has never been confirmed because there is no official trace having been found which would prove its provenance from the collection of the Dresden library. If the real contribution of Albinoni in this composition leaves no doubt, the paternity between the composer of this work Remo Giazotto and its inspiration Tomaso Albinoni is still largely maintained today by musicologists. Giazotto constructs the equipoise of the complete work in single movement based on this fragmentary theme. From a music theory perspective, The piece is a masterful composition that combines both Baroque and Classical techniques. The texture is fine and melodic, Albinoni incorporates a wide range of musical techniques to create a very moving soundscape. This one also masterfully uses a range of harmonic and modulator devices to add a layer of complexity and beauty to the piece. It modulates from the key of G minor to D minor at the climax of the melody, then resolves to the tonic at the end, creating a sense of stability and resolution. Albinoni's skillful use of dissonance creates a sense of tension and longing that many can relate to. The culmination and success of this desire to rediscover Tomaso Albinoni resulted in 1958, an extremely popular work attributed by the general public to Albinoni, but actually recomposed by Giazotto himself. Without the search of this musicologist, this piece would never have seen the light of day. Baptized « Albinoni » probably for commercial reasons, Remo Giazotto registered his copyrights and published at the Casa Ricordi Editions in Milan. Giazotto's evocative arrangement has since become the definitive version of the composition and has been performed by renowned orchestras and soloists around the world. The orchestration led by Daniel Somogyi-Toth is sincerely exceptional because however rare it is in the beauties of romance. *Lucien*

The studio looks like Abbey Road Studio #1 based on the light blue foam baffling on the wall and the natural varnished wood. The blue carpeting must be a new addition for this recording session. A gorgeous studio with an amazing staff of professional sound people. Bravo!!

A Google fordító segített nekem. Ez a dallam, amelyet a BUDAPEST SCORING SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA játszik, szenzációs. Minden érzésem van. Csodálatam Az ízlésem szerint.

Beautifully played in the classic manor. However, I'm wondering what music the conductor is listening to in that his movements are totally not with the music or orchestra. it is like he's just there and trying to take off flying and the orchestra is playing as they wish. Lots of directors like this out there. You wonder why they are even there.
@SOUNDIVACLASSICAL2 жыл бұрын
sorry but you understand nothing about music and conducting! The conductor is a conservatory director!!!

@@SOUNDIVACLASSICAL Sorry, but I am afraid I do, very much so. The conductor is way off. I guess I'd better tell the symphony and chamber orchestra I am part of we don't know what we are doing.
