if wayv continues in this direction i truly believe they'll have the one of the best discography in the cpop/kpop scene!! i love how you guys reacted to kick back too because that is by far one of my favourite releases from them and my favourite releases this year, straight ear candy for me. i hope moonwalk is given a chance too lol. wayv's music is so complex and does so many interesting things without it ever seeming like it's trying to hard. on top of that there's amazing vocalists and rappers with various flows within a song which adds so much more SPICE. and all their songs manage to vary from eachother, SMENT is spoiling wayv with top tier title tracks haha.

WayV has the greatest title tracks ever, it sounds like a story on its own, the contrast between the rap and the high belts, the very vocal orientated chorus to another chanty post-chorus. All sets their own unique colour and style!

That’s what I love about NCT’s music, there are so many layers and sound effects. I can listen to one of their songs 5 times in a row and hear a new sound or instrument every time. I forgot which song it was by them but one of the producers said it had 105 tracks used in the final production, I think it was Punch tho

I've been so excited for this one, loving the final edit. From when I first listened to this song, I found the MV setting and the vibe of the song reminded me a lot of the theme from the first Resident Evil movie. The introduction with the sirens, the xylophone with that chime like sound, and way they appear to be locked in an underground lab/interrogation facility all gave me a eerie feeling, like something bad happened here and it's not over yet. I totally agree with Jason on the dystopian vibe, for sure. I appreciate Cloud expressing how many details are packed into the layers, that's definitely is something that makes it harder to pin down what the emotional core of the song is for me. But the beautiful lyrics, the gorgeous bridge and the harmonies make it really enchanting. I think the modal mixture Owen and Kevin broke down for us might explain why it also gives me more relief from the eerie vibe in the chorus, so it's not relentlessly scary or so intense I can't listen to it on repeat. If I want a more restful WayV song I pick After Midnight, or more cheerful, Electric Hearts, more sad, All for Love, and of course for the bittersweet triumph sequel, Kick Back. I don't think I can help with the floppy definition, sorry! I agree the bass has a wavy quality to me (with or without the pun : ) I love Kevin's Chinese Corner, it brings extra nuance to the scope of the song. Raffi helped me put me into words how the variation in vocal techniques within the range of this all-male group keeps me engaged. Thank you, everyone!

The song itself is indeed very intense and complex? Like it's really cool and kinda fascinating, but the fact that we literally spent months researching the concept and all the hidden meanings, like the teasers and the game that they produced (for only a week TT) and the fact that while connecting all the dots of the pictures, lyrics and sets of this MV, we literally went to check all the main MV's of SM because it connects all the concepts together, which includes Red velvet, exo, NCT(U,127 and Dream),SuperM and finally aespa..... I can't even explain all the stuff that we concluded, because it's just so big, like to think this has been going gor 6 years.....oh my goodness....anyway I think it's an amazing addition to the diversity of SM and I'm definitely proud of it

ReacttotheK's videos always makes me enjoy the songs I already liked more. Hearing musicians break down the composition and listening to their opinions gives me a whole new perspective of music. Before college I wanted to study music but in the end I chose computer systems engineering. This channel futures two of the things I like the most (and well, WayV is my biased group lol so that is an extra point). Thanks to all the people involved in the reactions, production, edition, etc. I do really enjoy your videos..., also I'm really exited to see/hear Kick Back's!! If you'd like, I also recommend listening to WayV's b-sides like Face to Face or Horizon to get a softer melody an clearer vocals ;)

This time related stuff are one of my favs and Alarm Clock, 1 Minute Back by SHINee, Taemin's Clockwork have this piece as their friend. WayV really surprised me when they released this. I do not understand Chinese but the way it's mixed with English goes well with the music and makes it so appealing. These guys also have great vocals. Turn Back Time is really a great song!
