Hey! Do you know that we can often play musically by working on easier pieces? Click the link for more information: www.classicalguitarshed.com/easy-pieces/

I teach at a music school and always present my new flashy students with 'easy' repertoire for phrasing and tone production etc. After their initial shock and indignation ( that I pretend not to notice) we can actually get down to some good basic RH and LH technique. Thanks for this, I don't hear it said at all or repeated often enough in the breakneck race for prizes.

This is fantastic advice. My nstrument is the piano, but I think this advice can apply to any instrument. Thank you for this.

Well said about the top 5%. Playing easier pieces "like a pro" is always, at least for me, much harder than butchering advanced pieces "like a boss".

great advice! My issue is that my easy pieces become harder and harder.

Excellent advice Allen. Time to grow up, mature, and stop singing like an elementary school child. Thank you much. 👍
