Fire department strikes. Garbage men strikes. Power outages. Inflation and double digit interest rates. 90 percent tax over 1 million pounds that chased the producers out of the country. Not as bad as Eastern Europe however still a mess. Thank God for Margaret Thatcher.

Is pleasant and polite and asks questions that allow Víctor to expand and talk, and then she lets him expand and talk, and the next question is relevant to the last answer not just off a sheet She may or may not know huge amounts about the subject, I literally don’t know, but her task here is to prompt victor, not to compete with him, so it doesn’t matter anyway So if she couldn’t compete, so what. It is and historians don't know exactly why witchhunts ended. Some speculate it ended when they targeted the wrong rich families. 13:30 asks about heros. VDH describes Trump as a tragic hero on the order of Shane in the movie of that name.
@StaytunedtvTv4 жыл бұрын
VDH is quite brilliant as most would agree. He is a fountain of wisdom and logic with a pedigree shaped during the sweat and toil of his days working the family acreage. Like many of you I listen to and or view any podcast or cable news segment featuring him, as well look for and read his articles. Perhaps it was a slip of the tongue, however in Dr. Hanon's line of comments regarding tragic heroes in classic westerns he mentions Gary Cooper in "Shane." Alan Ladd is the star of the movie (and I believe Ladd's portrayal of the character Shane to be his finest), not Coop. The movie is a favorite of mine for a couple of reasons: As a kid I was on the set during production in Jackson, WY and vividly remember many sensory experiences that are still quite alive in my thoughts. (My dad did many movies with director George Stevens and his partners Frank Capra and William Wyler.) "Shane" presents an authentic look at a handful of families, typical of the melting pot of cultures that carved the growth of the nation as pioneers, then settlers migrating west of Saint Louis. The internal and external struggles of each family unit, the shaping of a community that faced the power of a ruling class protected by its hired guns - classic symbolism, plus a really honest fringe edge of romantic attraction to the dangerous stranger as given us by the always mysterious Jean Arthur in her final movie role. It is a great choice by VDH. Thank you Dr. Hanson.

Of course, and it was harsher. But it wasn’t so stupid and trite for the purpose of destroying the culture while technocrats push wokeness to transcend individual and national sovereignty. …. But there’s an error in classical liberalism and the Ayn Raynd mentality getting us to worship captains of industry and consumerism, with the problems out of the Age of Reason. And classic/neo liberalism both bottleneck through neoconservatism and progressivism. There’s a factor here where culture, freedom and economics are only held up as an illusion by the neocons and right wing positivists. We don’t have a conservative and classic liberal/libertarian alliance with people like Victor Davis Hansen, Hayek, Sir Roger Scruton, Sowell, Murray, Jordan Peterson, Tom Woods etc. We have corporatist talk radio and red meat influencers who turned culture into an identity badge slogan that radicals and establishments can tear through at will. As much as the Trump movement was a result of the Puritanism of the left, and globalists, it’s also a decay of the state and belief systems that was also present in the French Revolution, and hierarchy worship. There’s a logical endpoint of positivism and the Prussianization of America refusing to admit and correct any of its errors. The secular conservatives, Fox establishment, fundamentalists, hardcore neocons, and alt right, who all hate each other were willing to have a gentleman’s agreement around Trump. This is a clinging to a right wing cartoon version of history to counter the left wing cartoon version of history.
