The worst San Remo ever, weather wise. Ciolek kept his cool. The only time he was in front was at the line.

Modern winners of the paris-roubaix have it easy. The pave are dry more often than not as of late. Gone are the muddy days. I can think of only one year in the last decade where it was slightly wet. In my opinion the race has lost a lot of prestige due to the lack of wet roads and muddy tracks. Fone are the days of seeing kelly and the likes covered in mud to the point you cant even make out who they are.
