The lil gnome said "need if need" though, "quin", so shouldn't be any surprises or confusion. Streamers reason was logical as well, as long as lil gnome wasn't 100% sure he'd rather use the Emberstone staff anyways and not the quest reward. Gnome healer was not only hypocritical to what he said himself, he also trolled and/or fucked the streamer over just because of being able to/being an asshole/streamer was streaming. Hell, I don't care which is better, if I was a priest/mage in that level I would just say "I'll use the quest reward, you take the staff" to someone else if they were to get another reward from the quest, making them staffless overall since not being able to choose 2 rewards. Then again I'm not an asshole

It's part of the Missing Diplomat quest chain. Which is started in the high 20s and finishes in the mid 30s. One part has you go to that courtyard in Old Town to beat up a dude for information. He summons those two bandit adds. When you beat the named guy up enough he turns friendly again and adds de-aggro. They're supposed to leave and despawn after reset, but it can be glitchy and doesn't happen immediately. However, when they deaggro and reset, they stand in their spawn spots and can aggro on to anyone within range like regular aggressive mobs. @@yocowme

The skull mark came in late, meaning the mage had cast his first frost bolt on the other elemental and the rogue had open with cheap shot also on the wrong elemental, which we all know locks in any DPSer's brain to never switch target again due to fear of up time. Never uses a nova + CoC shatter to get the mobs of the healer, never polys the caster to get it off the healer. Just let the healer sit there and die why you click your one button rotation. Disgraceful display of how to play a mage.

I showed him how to do it and he just kept going on about how the game was so much easier like that lol. I think its just that some people are completely new to gaming and dont really have the intuition for that
