I thought it's a made-for-you- tube remake of Silent Night which tells the story of German wife and son who retreated on Christmas eve to their forest lair when the Battle of the Bulge was raging. Their home became the refuge of German and American soldiers who were separated from their units. There was tension in the house as she played host to those soldiers whose animosity within them turned into a momentary Silent Night. A lovely movie that was!!

There's no women in trench warfare. They are not anywhere on the Front line in the real story. No dances, no romancing...just men in trenches filled with water. Men on different sides...freezing...cold...scared...gassed, shot at, artillery etc. Then 12/24 they hear one side singing songs...so all on certain areas of the front, come together in peace for 2 days. They stopped WW1 for a short time...
