It would definitely be cool to be able to disable the upgrades. It would be cool if someone made a mod for Sonic Adventure using those new textures with the Dreamcast Model as well. (maybe still using the original fur texture though, because it looks good, despite being innacurate to the artwork). Also, in the model viewer, the "Jam" skin (3D Blast skin but they removed his thumbs) looks normal, why does he look so much brighter in game? It almost makes him look like the Sonic Mania special stage model.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had archive of the original textures before compression. If that's the case it could be that the skin uses the original textures
