Do you guys understand that the "emily" blooper is the greatest blooper of all time? There's Bob letting his true lust for Emily shine ever so brightly, but not in an indecent way, at all (because these were good decent people with spouses who loved them and whom they loved, too) and then think about how this show ended - with Emily being in bed with Bob. Do you need more of a wink-wink/nod-nod? That's what makes this completely spontaneous blooper the greatest blooper of all-time. Bob and Emily really loved each other. And that includes some healthy lust, too. They never acted on those feelings. Those are special human beings. God bless them all. And the great Mary Frann, too (who gave her time and energy to help the less fortunate). What a great treasure we were given.

Er, it's a TV show?
@slewofdamascus3 жыл бұрын
@@ramaraksha01 sir or madam, it's much more than a mere "TV Show". There's a history behind this production. As this blooper aptly indicates. This is Bob Newhart's life work. He poured his heart and soul into it, just as he did with his previous award winning show. Not only is he a one-of-a-kind comedian and writer (the buttoned-down mind...), so are his shows, with the help of a brilliant cast of actors. It's like saying the Carol Burnett or the Barney Miller show are just "TV shows" when they are part of the fabric of our culture...I guess it takes a special kind of audience to appreciate it...
