That decade old description and where things went; makes sense but to sidetrack anime music and nyan cat... Wow. 8-bit and chiptune was still having a heyday back early 2010s. Then in the future, vaporwave surfaced, Dubstep calmed down and got murkey again with an expanse of bass music genres, mumble rap low end, post computer-core and hyperpop coming up. Now theres classic house and techno samples making their way into pop music. I cant even imagine what 2030 is gonna be like and i havent even heard a battle between siri and alexa yet.
