@@URGOVTNAME I guess it's a time of discovery, we were young, eager to have fun and discover ourselves. I feel these strong emotions fade away with time, but they are engraved in our mind and soul. It's the first time I've listened back to this tune for probably 10 years and I very much cherish those days. We'll always have the music and especially the memories. I remember I was very lonely, barely had any friends but this music kept me going. I would play it before going to bed, close my eyes and drift away. My music taste has evolved a lot since being a teenager but it is still meaningful and keeps me grounded and aware of how I was and who I am today.

I'm 67. Fell asleep on couch and woke up to this playing on KZbin last night. Never heard of it before and style. Don't listen to music/radio much anymore since I gave up playing long time ago but I know music. This a Real Good. Chords, melody, voice, beat, programming the sounds/textures and the use of space. I was looking through iTunes and came across deadmau5 and asked one of my roommates, "Hey, have you ever heard of dead mau five?" "Oh, you mean deadmouse? Yeah he's great man." I had to ask, "Oh really? Is he dubstep?" He then said, "Oh no dude. He's way more chill. Check this shit out." He packed another bowl and put on this song with surround sound, looked at me and said, "It's like you're chilling through the galaxy, dude." I never wanted that song to end.

Entire blocks wrapped in yellow tape. Police helicopters buzzing in the sky deep into the night.

In Melbourne, we have just come out of the longest lockdown in the world. Yesterday my friend and I visited the city for the first time in what felt like forever. Sat in a restaurant along the Yarra River and watched the city unfurl from its hibernation… little groggy, unsure, wobbly on its feet… and then they played this song and all I could do was cry. It hit me right in the heart and soul, in the deepest part of me. So much hope and love and euphoria in those ten minutes. I haven’t stopped listening to it since. Sheer bliss!

Feeling the past moving in Letting a new day begin Hold to the time that you know You don't have to move on to let go Add to the memory you keep Remember when you fall asleep Hold to the love that you know You don't have to give up to let go Remember turning on the the night And moving through the morning light Remember how it was with you Remember how you pulled me through I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember Feeling the past moving in Letting a new day begin Hold to the time that you know You don't have to move on to let go add to the memory you keep Remember when you fall asleep Hold to the love that you know You don't have to give up to let go remember how it was with you Remember how you pulled me through I remember feeling the past moving in Letting a new day begin Hold to the time that you know You don't have to move on to let go add to the memory you keep Remember when you fall asleep Hold to the love that you know You don't have to give up to let go remember turning on the the night And moving through the morning light Remember how it was with you Remember how you pulled me through I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember I remember

Only lyrics that matter is "letting a new day begin, hold to the time that you know"

for me, this was hands down the greatest house collaboration ever created. it's a shame that deadmau5 has strayed away from the very music that brought him his popularity. Random Album Title still has yet to be topped. Almost every song on it was incredible.

***** i agree. although he wasn't the founder of this genre of music, he has a very distinctive sound and he blends everything together so well.

Me as well. I always knew the chords from somewhere but I never searched for the song. Now I listen for the first time and I have goosebumps. :))

This song takes me back to a much simpler time. 2011 I was in my early 20s and listened to this while driving on a hot summer night to party with some friends. The world has changed a lot since then and I miss that time dearly.

Agreed, simpler times, music was real then. We had to search for it and thus we cherished it more.

This song moves my entire soul. The notes are just so packed with emotion. I remember being 14 and depressed sitting on my bed listening to this not knowing where I’d be. I was thinking of ending my life, but God kept me. If you’re struggling with depression, just know that you’re not alone 🥺❤️ I love y’all. Have a good day, month, or year! It’s all going to get better ❤️
