Is there a specific reason why you are not allowed to have a teacher's desk? In my country, every teacher has one. It's so normal and I never heard about teachers having none. So I'm very curious about that!

Well my story is a little different because I got a job before I even graduated! I knew someone in the district who got me an interview the week of my graduation. But I started looking for a new job around March or April of the following year!
