I am amazed at the amount of storage you have! I have NO built in storage areas. I have two shelves for a library, one teacher cabinet, one textbook shelf, a teacher desk, a STEM rolling cart, and a few small Amazon shelves I bought to hold some indoor recess toys and student supplies. I am so jealous! 😊

Totally OT, but I'm kind of in love with that astronaut ensemble. How cool is he?!?! And I get it, there are times when just getting boxes out of the area makes you able to function better, see what you need better, organize better, etc.

All the love sent to you Bridget! I related so much to this video! I resigned from a teaching position after 8 years at a school I loved! The feeling of being undervalued weighs heavy and ultimately made my decision for me. Best of luck for an amazing school year!

I always feel so overwhelmed when I move into a new classroom. This will be my fifth year in my current and I keep waiting to be moved. It's the longest I've ever been in one space.

I completely agree! I was at my last school for 6 years. Luckily, I had already started clearing things and reorganizing various closets. If my classroom was in the shape it had been 3 years ago, I would have been in trouble 😳

Bridget, your classroom is really coming together! You have already organized a lot of materials and you fit the bins nicely into and on top of the cabinets. I agree that it's nice to get the boxes of books unpacked to set up the classroom library...it just makes the room feel like home. Anyway, I wish you the best as you continue setting up your room for the new school year!

Thank you! I knew that I had a lot of books but when you have it packed away for three months, it is very easy to forget what all I have. Once I have it all unpacked I’ll have to spend a day really sorting through and making the best use of the space. Hope you are doing well! 😊

Hi Briget 🌄 👋, I have been watching you since you were a Kindergarten teacher, and all your family vacations. I cannot believe your youngest son is so big! Like I tell my students, "I finished growing, now it's your turn". I have seen your wonderful progress and it has always made me smile as a teacher as an aunt and as a fellow fur parent. Your doing great with the way your organizing your new space. I am so looking forward to your new "adventure " in life. I wish you all the best and I'll be watching for as long as your videos 📹 are up and about. Warm thoughts I send your way Raquel 🙋🏻♀️🙊🙉🙈🌬🌄🏫🧘🏻♀️📚📖📙📘📗📕📒💕💕

Hi i have just recently begun to watch your videos. I am an early years teacher in Queensland Australia. I have just moved from working in long day care to a school. I was wondering in the US/ Cananda if the schools provide any resources. I am just looking at all your personal resources and wonder what the schools actually fund. Here in Australia schools are usually funded by the state governments. While teachers do buy some things I dont really think it is on the same scale as what I am seeing on the platform of you-tube. Thanks

Hello, this is a question that I get asked quite often. Depending on the school and funds available (every school receives different funds based on the state, taxes, and the level of needs for the student.. for example title 1 schools) they will provide some materials. However, many of the things you see in my videos are materials that I have purchased with my own money. Schools will but the basic resources for instruction purposes based on the curriculum they follow but everything else is up to us.
