Just for the sake of balance, Taylor has really put Jake though it on her albums, and to his credit, all he has ever said (publicly) is, '"It has nothing to do with me," he says. "It's about her relationship with her fans. It is her expression. Artists tap into personal experiences for inspiration, and I don't begrudge anyone that." from an interview with Esquire magazine. I'm stil a pretty big fan, always was, even though I do think of Taylor when I see him, which is frankly, a little lame and irritating. 😹😹

He did also speak about her when asked on Howard Stern. He basically took full accountability, though, saying he was afraid of commitment for a long time. I think he's a stand-up guy, and ultimately, it just didn't work out between them, and that's OK.
