Paradias gave him an easy 10 length start and was still pulling for his head turning in. To challenge like he did coming to the last, just to tire late on, was a decent effort. With his flat form on better ground, and with a fast pace to settle off, he isn't a forlorn hope to turn things round with the winner in March. Whether either of them is good enough to win a Supreme is another matter.

​​@@deancrozier7293Which part do you disagree with? 10 length easy lead, pulling hard on ground that was more testing than ideal, him not going equally as well between the last 2 flights, or a faster pace on better ground suiting it much better? I can't see either of them winning a Supreme, but going by what you saw in the race, rather than what you read in the papers, points are valid imo. Time will tell I suppose.

@csb7376 Paradias won on soft ground first time up so no excuses on that score. I can see Jeriko winning the supreme 2bh. He was in 2 gear all the way until pulling away easily at the end it could have been 8 lengths if James Bowen wanted to. Paradias is more likely a 130 handicapper

Jeriko obviously has some engine but it's his jumping that impresses me the most. I think he's the one to beat as Willie doesn't look to have a 2 miler this season

​@andijw79 I wasn't as blown away as some ppl with this performance from Mystical Power. I thought his jumping was sticky early on and it was a very weak grade 2. Also interesting he was running over 2m 4f before the fog beat them at naas. So the ballymore will come into play so JP can split up his horses
