Everyrhing else that raced up with the pace got a dose of the staggers (the second horse came from last) the loose horse did its level best to run him off the track ... and still he won like THAT. As good as it gets basically.

The two mile division has looked pretty moderate for most of this season. This was different class. Hardly a surprise that this horse is now very short for the Supreme. If he can reproduce then Workahead might be the only one who can give him a race. That only if Blackmore isn't jocked up.

The only way he beats Lulamba in the Supreme was if he was to start the race now. Na seriously, Hard to tell how good he is considering he basically beat horses he canters with every day. I feel like this horse, Lulamba is also a "cud be anything" horse, but I was more impressed by Lulamba than Kopek.

Was this a beaten odds on shot? Without Willie and Gordon entering their horses there would be a lot of small field races which teach the horses nothing and we learn little from a form perspective then. If you've ever seen a press day at Willie's you'd see how they quiz him on future plans and pecking orders etc. Maybe you've got ulterior motives for your myopic comment?
