Everyone just used her as a toy, as a pawn, as a puppet, she trusted to wrong people and it may costed her life. She was unlucky to meet Salvatore, very unlucky. If only she had just never met Salvatore, her life could be much better. But the fate decided otherwise. And you know what? Looking at Maria, I hate that old bastard and lovelace Salvatore even more. After all, he saw that she did not like him and she despised him, there was a huge age and generation difference between them, he knew that she would not love him like the first wife. But that didn't stop him. I am 100% sure that Salvatore had many young mistresses long before Maria. After all, according to the traditions of the mafia, any mafioso, in addition to his wife, seems to have a mistress - goomah. Here I am sure that even before Maria, he seduced young girls, charmed them with his gentleman's charm, promised them everything they wanted, he sexually used them and manipulated them, and then, when they outlived their sexual usefulness and attractiveness, he got rid of them, changing them for others. Quite possibly, he got rid of them once and for all. And you can't help but wonder: if this old libertine, lovelace and womanizer outlived at least one woman - his first wife, who gave birth to his son Joey, and perhaps he outlived several other young women, then what would have happened to poor Maria? And you can look at Maria in a completely different way - after all, Salvatore did not just take her as a trophy wife - he doomed her to suffering. R* perfectly showed thousands of broken fates, revealed the true nature of modern unequal marriages, taught very bitter lesson to young girls and, I’m pretty sure, R* perfectly mocked and spoiled blood to very loving old womanizers.

In the undersurveillance mission in the original ps2 version azuka says that the leones are the ones that are scouting stauton island for claude, whereas in the pc version she says its the cops that are searching for him, that is why the cops models are actually leones.

The PS2 version makes sense because the Leones are very pissed after Salvatore died, so it's likely a capo who dispatched many Leones to Staunton Island to kill Claude. The PC and DE version lines doesn't make any sense as if the developers who ported the PC version mixed up their minds about the scenario happened after Salvatore's assassination. Who are the FBIs mounting a surveillance in Staunton? That's not part of the story.

throughout the game I do sort of suspect a love triangle between Asuka, Claude and Maria. The obvious one being Maria and Asuka, from "going away at the moment", the massager, and then there's them returning feelings to Claude. Maria obviously starting with Claude hence his exile from Portland, and then a hidden crush from Asuka for a relationship proposal "Business or otherwise~" additionally, giving her likeness in his efficiency.

There’s a gta 3 mod that sets after the events of sal death and who took the Leone family mafia. And Joey is the protagonist of this story. Its called Frosted Winter mod. It’s non canon but I thought maybe the writing itself could’ve been more eventful.

Salvatore paranoia mostly cost him his life in the end he shouldn’t had betrayed Claude potentially other reasons had led to his death Kazuki’s murder by Toni back in 1998 might also be the secondary motive as well and Asuka may of sense an opportunity to get revenge over Kazuki’s demise without having the murder traced back to the Yakuza

Driver is actually a clone of GTA because it came out in 1999 whereas GTA 1 came out in 1997 so it came out three years no two years after GTA 1 and then the second game came out one year before GT3

I don't think the HD/3D separation is what Rockstar made it out to be before. There's enough evidence in GTA 5 and Online to indicate the events of San Andreas happened in their past. That alone is proof they're the same continuity.
