I normally use this beautiful stitch as a border on baby blankets I make using the broomstick lace stitch. I wanted to make my 10 yr old granddaughter who is going through a rough time at the moment a little shawl with this stitch so that when she is feeling scared /lonely, all she has to do is put it on and have an instant hug and reminder from Nana and know she is always loved. Thank you so much for this tutorial!

I’m gonna try this with some ribbon yarn - never done this stitch (or a shawl for that matter) or worked with ribbon yarn before so here goes; wish me luck - ha ha

Simple tip but super important…. The Solomon knot is a TWO row repeat (not counting the starting row of knots). If you do not end with an even number of rows the sides will be off! One side will have two less loops! This pattern is only one row after you get started. I live it!

First if you dont know how to crochet Solomon knot, you can find in her channel another video easier and slower to follow. After that surely this video becomes clearly to your view.

I love the solomons knot done C2C I don’t understand how to sew in the yarn ends at the end of the project or when changing skeins. I would normally use the edging boarder to hide it but I like the effect you get without a boarder. Can you please help me thanks Janelle
