Thank you for the kind words everyone, speaking about AUD is liberating and speaking with Katie is like speaking to an old friend....we all need to speak about our feelings and our journeys, I encourage you all to make your own videos and send them in! Much love to you all :) CC

knowing that you and Katie and the TSM community are here and are talking....helps me feel less scared, less isolated with this. I hope that one day I myself will be speaking from the same healed position, as a beacon of hope and strength for others. I have 34 years experience with alcohol, amongst other things, as well as life experience, im 48, I know a lot of the stuff people can go through the good the bad and the downright hideous. TSM is a damn revelation and has come at the right time for me. i feel like I have goals again and as if it's okay to dream again.

And you are speaking in your own way by sharing your experiences about TSM and drinking here in the comments! That helps people too...so thank you.

First time in 25 years of binge drinking/AUD, I have NO CRAVINGS for Alcohol after being on Naltrexone for 8 days!.......unbelievable....I feel free for the first time in my life.....it is so overwhelming....My relationship with alcohol was abusive and volatile with the illusion of fun and living life......last 5 years through deep meditation and Intermittent fasting, I have been able to completely emotionally release alcohol from my being....spiritually, and now Biologically.....Amazing. Thank you Claudia, You are a true Hero and God Bless you! :-)

It was during the summer of 1993 when I was entering the 7th grade that I was a Geeky Middle School kid that fell in love with the MANIAC COP trilogy which is how I became a fan of Miss Christian, because she starred in the second film with Bruce Campbell and at the time she was on a TV show on FOX that I watched at the time called BABYLON 5. She was also in movie I saw a several years ago called CLEAN AND SOBER (1988).

ok I will stop updating with each thing I do with TSM! but I will say...it turned out not so bad last night. was sick once and didn't sleep..but I'm heading to my weekend job not feeling shabby. because it was one drink, a small one and I could barely finish it, it's ok. I'm finally after about two months ready to follow the protocol of continuing to drink. take a pill. have one drink. repeat. so that, as per C.Cs incredible Ted talk....I don't hit that six month bump and go right back to black out. which has happened every single other time I have 'quite. well quitting is for losers haha! I'm exterminating the he'll outta my AUD. extinction never sounded so great. thanks again Katie:)

Thanks to both of you. I do think that this "movement" will snowball. I have, personally, tried everything. One week into this method, and I already feel a difference. Drinking down by 50% already. I still have cravings... In fact, I am on my second glass of wine right now. A week ago, I would have been going out to buy my second bottle of wine already... I am tired and I want to go to bed. I need to listen to that urge. Enjoying my wine so much less! What am I going to do with all the free time?
@thrivealcoholrecovery5 жыл бұрын
LIVE LIFE!! haha. that's what you can do with the free time :) it's an adjustment for sure especially when we've spent so much time drinking. but it's definitely a sweet freedom once you get in the groove

Just a joke comment while I'm here: You have a poster on your wall: "Joy to the world" Some years ago some friends and I decided to do some Christmas Caroling. I suggested "Joy To The World" so I started singing "Joy to the world, all the boys an girls..." Back to the subject, I just started this a couple days ago. Going well so far but going to take some time, of course.

hahahaha nice. I totally bought this on sale at christmas time but I like to have the idea up all year long. JOY TO YOU!

Hi, I just paused and watched the documentary on amazon prime. It was excellent. If this could work for my family member, wow for him and for us. I am still a little confused though. If the pill is taken, one must drink on that day, then the same thing the next day? How long does this go on. I am a person that does not drink, sparkling water when out on a dinner meeting. I just need to know if he needs to drink every time he takes a pill. I sure would like a handy how to booklet. Any ideas? Thank you
@thrivealcoholrecovery5 жыл бұрын
If you email me I will send you a copy of the book "The cure for alcoholism" which goes into the science behind it. And I've made a video about the protocol: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sH7bfn2gpL6Dprc. Basically, You take 1 pill 1 hour before drinking for the rest of your life.

watching this after hav8ng had my third dose only of naltrexone; would love the TSM Buddy system here is Australia! great interview ladies. I feel like...I'd just rather not drink because damn it's horrible I've had 25mg and one small glass wine and I'm ill as all hell. how does anyone do this! just drank again with pill as I thought, well i have to work toward extinction! because I've heard just giving it up doesn't work long term . anyhoo! thanks for the fantastic vid.

Still having rough side effects with naltrexone? Sorry to hear that!! I wish you the best let me know if I can be of help

Help, if a person drinks every day and drinks a great deal, would it be appropriate to just take the pill at the beginning of the day? This is for someone who needs help.
@thrivealcoholrecovery5 жыл бұрын
I have replied to some other comments.... you take the pill 1 hour before drinking. Some doctors do advise a person to take a second dose if they are drinking over many hours. Hope that helps!

please, please...not another person promoting themselves instead of the message, or the meaning. the message from claudia is sobriety through dr sinclair's method. period. a life saver. katie's journey was simple and real. a good help. no hopes of becoming famous, etc. through this....please. please.

hello p.f. may I ask what your comment means? Thank you
@p.f.blackmon86635 жыл бұрын
@@HumanimalChannel i probably spoke in haste. a kneejerk reaction. the simple sinclair method, C3foundation are so pure, in and of it's self. claudia has been a pioneer in the field. (katie...a bit later). just don't want to see any of it become about the person, or personality. (that is the beauty of A.A.) if one would make fame, money, or notoriety off of the method then it becomes no good...to anyone.
@HumanimalChannel5 жыл бұрын
@@p.f.blackmon8663 I do get it...for example all the dang vegans running around in sports bras on you tube....but the important thing is here that here is an incredible astounding and life saving treatment and hardly anyone knows about it. my GP in Brisbane mentioned it to me because his psychologist had told him about it as something to help him. I only knew of naltrexone from working in a clinic where we would give scripts for it to people who knew someone at risk of narcotic overdose. and the first time i took it I had no idea what i was doing....took a whole 50 mg but as i started drinking not before and oh boy hallo psychotic episode! . ... I feel like my dr's guinea pig, still need to update him with what has happened last few weeks but I digress. without katies vids I'd have been lost and not knowing what to do and feeling very alone. and the TSM word needs to get out there! educating doctors and reaching the people that need an answer, some hope, so they can go and talk to their doctors about it...support groups, information, tips. I have a friend who is in a constant humiliating cycle of AA, binging and being dried out in a hospital rehab. most shit ain't working for people but for most who try this, 78%, it's a MIRACLE and I want to be one of those miracles! people have to find out SOMEhow about TSM! go for it Claudia go for it Katie! bloody go for it PF! sing it from the rooftops tell it like it is, to friends colleagues to pollies in parliament educate counsellors in Universities and priets in parishes, have market stalls and talks at the local libraries and make some amazing you tube videos. wherever the message needs to be which is EVERYWHERE :). anyhoo, thanks for your reply! and trust me I am definitely not proud of some comments I make on you tube I didn't think yours was bad just thought oooo i want to understand this because just maybe it was a little bitchy and I didn't know who it was aimed at or why thanks for your response, take care :)
