She has immense power and charisma and is really explosive, but I think she would be well served by taking out a bit of the difficulty and cleaning up her execution. She isn't really my style but I must admit she sells her routine incredibly well, but her landings are terrifying and her air form isn't very nice at all, so I wish she would remaster a bit of her technique and downgrade a bit (she may not need to throw the DLO 1/1 or the Dos Santos, for example, in favour of just a double layout and a tucked double arabian, and maybe put a combination pass somewhere in there). I think she'd even gain a few tenths with a downgraded routine better-executed.

Not with her execution it didn’t unfortunately. Amy had better form and execution in qualifying, and showed it in the final. Execution was always Claudia’s downfall.

@@GymnasticsSavesLives Amy’s form in qualifying was still better than her teammate, and she stuck her landings better than Claudia. Unfortunately, these Olympics were not a good showcase for this poor girl. It was a shame as she had great potential- but never learned to harness the power she had enough.

@@GymnasticsSavesLives and far more in Claudia’s. Amy also had more difficulty, including dance elements that were completed and credited. That’s the biggest place she got nailed on. In team finals you could see the difference in her performance.
