Bailey did such a fantastic rendition of Claudia. I was sad they changed actors but it definitely fits the issues with Louis’ memories. I’d love to see Bailey return in a future season.

3:18 Possibly the cutest Season 1 scene with Claudia and Louis. Simultaneously, the moment that i realized that Claudia was not in good hands. At the same time. I’m finding that I particularly favor that in art. 🚶🏾‍♂️

3:18 An element of art: Foreshadowing. Louis explains the burning of the black part of town as his fault. He skips over the part about detectives and trials and law and order. The miseducation of Claudia. But we miss it because it’s so adorable. We endure Lestat’s treatment of Louis and wonder why Claudia is more mad about it than Louis. We wonder why Louis keeps explaining away Lestat’s actions to Claudia. We feel relieved when Claudia begins to brush Louis’ ‘wilted logic’ off. Then when we get to the part where Louis betrays Claudia, we are shocked and confused. 🤯 But if u come back to this cupcake of a scene..and smudge that frosting to the side **gasp** 🫢 ‘This was who Louis was all along.’ #Where’sClaudia? 🚶🏾‍♂️
