Hello! I love this performance so much.. Now I just wanted to ask a question: what mallets do You play with? They sound really accurate to this composition and the length also seems to be quite big.. 🤔

I'm a bit late, and also not Mr. Santangelo, but I believe he uses either medium hard or hard VF Van Sice mallets for his performances.

Hi Mr. Santangelo, I was wondering if you've played some of the top marimba masterpieces like reflections on the nature of water, kahn variations, velocities, three moves, or anything else like that. I've never seen anything like this before and I thinks it's incredible

Surely .. before finding a personal path, we need to know the musicians who came before us, to be able to freely express our thoughts ... Keiko Abe is an artist who has taught me so much, through his compositions, like so many others great artists ... so I try to express the freedom-thinking music hoping it will be an added value to the percussive culture - music! Hello Claudio, my daughter would like to play this piece at the upcoming solo and ensemble competition but she only has access to a 4.3 octave marimba, can this piece be played on a 4.3? Thank you

Wanda thank you very much, I'm happy that my piece is nice for you daughter... is possible but of course the bass part will be not the same and the sound will change completely and maybe and the piece will not be so nice as your daughter thinks it is...all the best :-)
