That's why I always go cap, if there's a chance. If I didn't get a good score, I blame myself for picking up the wrong side and I try it again, but at least that battle is finished. I've seen tons of battle where I was the only one capturing the base and in the last 10 seconds I got interrupted and died, losing the battle because I was alone for 90 seconds and no one gave a damn and went to farm damage, dying in the process. I've also won tons of battles thanks to that but I guess brain is not common in the tomatoes. When playing in platoon, if I see that match is turning really ugly, I normally tell my friends 'hey,, let's go cap now, kill the arty waiting there and in 34 seconds the battle is done, because we are going to lose it otherwise'. If it works that's fine, if not then we tried.

Played a game on the Mannerheim Line, endgame, a VK heavy was trying to shoot a Bourrasque while a T20 was right next to him having free shots until the T20 destroyed it, The T20 then drove off a sheer drop and destroyed itself. Call me old fashioned if you like, but I do not recall this level of stupidity when I started playing. 🤨

Claus, there is a position that both arty an d td's can fire from the north spawn that can deal damage to the south spawn, it is limited as you can only get one possibly two td's in this nook. B8 is the spot, while it is not perfect, it does have shots on the south spawns eastern flank. If the north spawn sends a scout to the E5 E6 bushes early on, they can spot the South Spawns eastern push.

i dont mind this map i guess its fair to say theres some broken places in it im thinking before i watch by teh blimp thing....its a big map but yeah...maps i dont like are the one with those big mining cranes its far too small should be for lower tiers only or just removed altogether its too small theres another one i cant think of off hand but the smaller maps should be reserved for lower tier tanks i think the one with sand dunes needs a bit fo a rework its the same thing everytime .the battle is usually decided in the mountains and my team usuall ends up being the noobs. maybe im just thinking negative on teh other small map probabaly because i cant remember it but that map with the mining cranes every battle is over wihtin like 3 minutes . 9 out of ten times.. its a steady steamroll

I love Redshire, can be played so many odd ways, lots of opportunnities for LOLWUT did he do? The map is stale because it plays out almost exactly the same 80% of the time...El Halluf is the same. But you can have real fun doing a heavy push via Castle

Hi Claus. There is a spotting position from the North spawn in the line of bushes next to where you died. You get spots on the Heavy tanks crossing before they get into cover, but the North knoll has limited opportunity to farm them before they are safe. You can sometimes assist for arty damage on those tanks crossing. That position also allows you to spot enemies on the wooded hill from the South who farm North's heavies while they cross towards the East, in the positions you demonstrated. This can allow your TDs to counter-farm. But the main thing is for North's heavies to be aware of the situation and not push into the open if spotted, and to angle on their approach in order to protect against fire from the sniping hill.

This map was WAY more broken when it was introduced lest we forget that it was 2 ridgelines both completely covered in bushes. When someone shot, the other side would spot and then delete the tank.

For the northern team the little corridor at B8 is great for sniping into heavy tank alley. If your heavies hang back then the southern heavies have to advance across the open and you can farm instead...nom! nom!

lol i smell the sarcasm and the anger you're feeling here ive been through it myself it is frustrating as hell people who play like this or blow leads and end up losing i sense Claus is getting mad. thats pretty obvious..so now people people or some people with sense can understand why i get mad and get chat banned alot because i get a hell of alot of this right here in this video..a team up 11-5 and ends up losing...the stupidity of people in this game amazes me but in alot of senses im somewhat expecting well not somewhat...but rather completely expecting it..i dont understand the logic of certina players it makes me wonder who is on the other side of that monitor controlling that tank....and this is a big f---you to everyone who every says "get gud" carry harder" play better" you suck" you can play as good as you always do but when you get players like this theres no chance in hell....i can do my part but when there 14 completely retarded people on my team its an effort in futility...all i can do is do the best i can . and do my part...yes i have a bad game here and there but these groups of people constantly blowing wins and leads are consistent so while i might be a deadweight tnak one game the other 8-9 im not but as i said the deadweight on teams in this game is consistent..i dont get it...theres no otehr explanation other than these peopel are complete idiots or theyre losing on purpose..not much to say really such groups or people are lost causes or something thats for sure..hopeless maybe? idk. how do you blow an 11-5 lead? its like you're playing with constant beginners the going in one at a time happens so much you'd think these people were new to the game...idk im babbling or rather having a tough time putting this into words but i guess is theyre idiots...

Most of the time it's little kids on daddy's account with no idea on how to play the game right. That is why i always wait when the game starts before i move, just so i can see where they go and how. Most of the time that will give you an indication of what you are dealing with. That way you can make the guess to attack or stay behind and defend as good as possible.

I beg to differ Claus, the little alley at A8 and B8 is perfect spot for TD to sit and just snipe on heavy tank that tries to push I myself sat there many times and just farmed the heavy tanks or mediums that push from there.

You told us "it's won" at the beginning, while you farmed the heavies (good spots and analyse) but after... after.... Your moves in the hill starting at 11:17 were bad: without using the bushes at your right.... This move leds you to be spotted by the Obj 704 (you had 728 hp and you knew it is very probable to meet the only one who can "one-shot" you: the Obj 704 on this Hill as we was last-spotted here) and then, WITHOUT any wiggles and WITHOUT any shell evasive gun moves, you have been obviously one-shoted ... Two beginner moves. For a very experienced player you are. As errare humanum est, i just thought "nevermind". But you just started to laught about a beginner, insulting him in the chat with "MUPPET" and "I hope you lose" instead of helping him with experienced advices. This ends into a defeat... This kind of behaviour is precisely what i hate in WoT and other games: Quite good players making mistakes by self-confidence, then being destroyed and charging/insulting Beginners who remains in battle instead of helping them... Thumbs down sorry.

Okay so watching your vid on the Match Maker. I thought, I'll just start comparing player ratings on games that seem to be totally one sided. (Which is most, either way) First two games, both terrible losses. Average on my team about 3.5k, Average on theirs 6k. 13 out of 15 tanks had lower ratings on both games.... People should start comparing team player ratings and see if it's consistent. If so, it's proof of rigging. Oh, and third game, got one shotted at full speed in a T100-LT... from a 4005.

Do Studzianki (campfest, fuck lights lol) Fjords (South gets 90% map domination for free) Ghost town (basically mines but more boring, meds, lights have fun ;) ) Prokhorovka (campfest) Fisherman's bay (slow games, camping lanes) Berlin (made for ai, sucks ass) Not all of them are straight up unbalanced but all of them are either fucking garbage or are designed in such a way that one or more classes are at a huge disadvantage in regards to how their typical playstyle /role works out on the map, or almost always devolve into one huge campfest where only heavies and arty are having any fun.

Well klaus, yuo ignored some spots southern side use a lot : That chunk of trees C8 (approx) where they can just wait for hevies to expose themselves, also B8 where you can be sure some bigcanon Td sit and wait for some juicy targets, and next I discovered this place - that small glit in B9. All these positions are quite dangrous for south side - I witnessed that myself when Im about to advance from south. I personally use much that cluster of trees B8. The south side also have that series of bush to spot from D6D7 where they can highlight muppets that come from south and camp into that hill. ERgo, its not that broken as you think!

Such a typical comment from the TVP "We all lost it, we're a team" lolololol...yeah like you're all gonna get together afterwards over some beers and discuss how you failed as a team and how you can do better next time. The TEAM got it to 14-10, the Leopard, 2 seconds away from capping out, lost all common sense and initiated a chain of events that changed the outcome from a sure win to an epic, unnecessary loss. This replay is so perfectly the WOT experience. Meanwhile the Leopard on the winning team just crapped his pants because combined with a little bit of smarts and common sense he was gifted a Kolobanov's medal

weird how most changes take effect on all tanks, but few holy tanks are just special like EBR with retard mechanics and FV that is one of the few tank with fare gold shells balance. We can include as well rusky tanks with retard armor/ hit chance and germans amazing dispersion that makes you miss half of the times. Someone needs to tell WG that 1+1 will always =2 not sometimes 1 or 3 or 4..nono 2 for ever. Weirdly enough is that WG can count money very well because they always know exactly how to market things in order to squeeze a bit more from players, even if it's just their free time for something that was not worth it from the beginning.

wotcharts.eu says the win rate for spawn points on Redshire is one of the most balanced with a 50.84%/49.16% split. Murovanka apparently is the most balanced map and Mines the least balanced.

It's not "broken"... It's one of the BEST maps of the game, good for all sides, tanks, and playstyles. Sure, the south side camping spot is a little better than the spots for the other side, but that's okay. Love you Claus, but you be idioting it here. Working as intended WG wants one sided games i have the most rigged match making that is humanly possible one day i can have 77 games whit 56 % wins another day i get punished while doing 2k + dmg pr game and i got a 40 % winratio over 80 battles its like a rollercoaster and dont tell me its random that u all of a sudden lose that many games despite your performance being just as good.

Red Shire is totally unbalanced map. South has more positions for sniping and heavies can get to the Zeppelin faster. North side can't come there in time with average heavy tank. Only super fast heavies can be at the Zeppelin faster. Medium can take sniping position by the zeppelin from, the south to. Actually two sniping positions one left and one right from the Zeppelin. Plus middle from the south can shoot into the Castle to. From the north side lower left D7 bush can counter middle snipers coming from south but that is about it. Scout going there should have CVS equipped though to negate bushes. Fr9om the north side snipers can take the bush on C7 lover right side and counter a bit eastern side. Still if the players are sam and tanks are the same south should win more games than north side. Stupid map balance. All that said I like to play it.

I'm a sniper. From the north spawn I head for what I call "Three Trees. " which is roughly in the C8 area of the map. You knock over the three trees and it gives you cover to snipe potential targets on the "Fallen Zeppelin" area where the heavies are and a very good view of the sniper area where Claus was. If the enemy fire you usually have targets. The downside is this spot is getting too well known and you will get blind shots, and arty battery, if they see the trees have been knocked over and you will be forced to move away. Bit of a gamble, but one I think worth taking. One tank is enough! Crowding the area by "late arrivals" is asking for trouble!

TO win on the North Spawn simply wait at A8/B8 and snipe and don't push the Zeppelin. Skillz will almost always do this. Check out his stream for examples.

Claus, How about Paris as a broken map, let me explain, west side is at a disadvantage, due to the cover at the south side of map (bridge area), 3 reasons, first the bridge has more cover for west side than east, and second, arty (I know its not an arty map) from west side can fire down to hit east side tanks in that position to south due to the road layout (if arty sit at A1 area), even if the east side arty move to hit tanks in that same position from their side, not only are they in danger of being exposed easily, but they have to fire around the bridge and its cover with No road layout to help them, and lastly, for the rest of the tanks, the 2 levels (on bridge and below it) allow more guns to fire onto the clusterfluk of tanks that bunch around that area, sure some of the tanks on east can move around other side of buildings but still all the west side from lower bridge spots need to do is reverse a little up the hill again and able to bear guns on their location while still remaining hull down. Rest of map is even sort of, but no big advantage each side... NOTE - I hate playing or vs arty myself, but need to show what advantage the sides have...s

Hi, sorry fot the late comment. Redshire has advantages and disadvantages for both notrh and south spawn. South spawn snypers take advantage of the north spawn heavies while approaching the zeppelin, whyle the north spawn snypers take advantage of the south spawn heavies once they reach the zeppelin (they have good snyping spots at B8 and C8)

I move to D4,5 or E4,5 to counter those that do that. When I spawn on north. But I need the appropriate tank to do so, with experiments I’ve found which tanks I have that can do that and which tanks I have that can do that but it’s very risky unless they have certain tanks in which I know the capabilities of said tanks so I can then minimize the risks involved. Often times baiting ppl who sit in that magic place in the south to anger one or two of them into rushing me. In which case leads to their death more often than not because they become dangerously close to the arty and if ppl can protect the arty without really moving then they do it most of the time. Haha

Anymore WOT is mostly kids playing. Most of the older players have quit. Once it became obvious that the game is a scam and that ranking is meaningless it loses its appeal. Really the game is another case where greed has ruined a potentially good thing.

Like how Claus says the T49 is doing a great job spotting as he dies 1:15 into the game. The reason so many of these maps are broken is all of the increased speed and vision. Years ago you would rarely get spotted. You had time to make it to a position. And this is a big map. As soon as the music starts you just know. I believe Claus has done a disservice to arty though. He has badgered players into moving. Really you should only move if your position is compromised or you need a different angle

how can you counter this? First of all from the North spawn assuming you have arty on your team they can fire on the grassy knoll where the snipers set and trust me it makes them move and stops any cross fire or reduces it dramatically. Second you have to be willing to sacrifice your light tank for your team and rush that position on the grassy Knoll spot them so they get cross fired on or counter cross fire. There is also a way to play the east and do a mild push to the corridor. But yes Claus is 100% correct on his explanation of the map.

I count on the heavies always going to the zeppelin, but I head to the castle and more often than not, I can run along the 1 line and flank them, kill the scouts, do some damage and find the arty.... using my T1

D9 is stupidly open for no reason, giving a massive advantage to the southern team. Any yolo light tank, a freaking tomato, can do whatever is desired there and completely decide the development of the battle in the first minute.

As a quick TD, if you get to claus location and have good support, you can rack up 3k easily in no time just firing on crossing tanks. So easy.

claus u played like a muppet too letting that 704 one shot u so ur to blame just as that leo and e100 .and a good td or a good scout relocates way before the enemy pushes to spot u they had the castle it was obvious they were gonna rush the hill to spot the campers especially when they still were holding the heavy line ...better take a defensive position early and save hp than to take one or two more shots of dmg i mean ur lucky u didnt get tracked in the open or worse ever ammoracked the key to winning a battle is predicting enemy moves and countering them ;)

And yet, in my experience on this map, the northern heavies usually win that fight in the East, so something seems to balance out the gap-sniping from south-center.

Good stratergy but more than once have heavy tanks not gone east. I've played this for 10 years and at the very beginning of the battle I know who will win or lose.
