Those people are very lucky who have traditional grandparents staying at there home. Those people are blessed to have such grandparents living togather with them. Missing my grandparents of both side.

PROCEDURE 1. Let pots and lids sink into water completely covered for 3 days. 2. Clean then out with fresh clean water and let them dry completely. 3. With your hands spread cooking oil on every inch of the pots and lids then let the oil be completely absorbed. I'll leave it for a day. Then ready to use.

Thank you for sharing this video. I have few doubts on how to use mud pots. Request you to address below questions in another video. Grandma’s inputs will be very helpful and much appreciated. Below listed are doubts that I got while using mud pots. 1) should we need to dry mud pot completely under son or air dry every time we wash it? Or is it okay to wash it and then immediately use it to cook again? If we need to sun or air dry it then how to dry mud pots in rainy season? 2) if I have cooked sambar in mud pot and if there is any leftover, should we leave it in the same pot? If so then how long we can keep it ? I put curd in a mud pot and couldn’t not consume it all. So I left it in mud pot, but next day it had caught fungus. 3) how to clean mud pots if it gets fungus? 4) what’s the life of a mud pot? I started using mud pot to cook rice, but it lasted only for 25 days… it started leaking. We have electric stove for cooking. 🙏
