FYI: don't let the clay dry in your hair!! It is a true beast to get out. Apply the clay and wrap your hair up if you don't rinse right away.

This is amazing. Might I suggest, if you haven't already done it, can you just do a "list" video? Usually just 3 - 5 mins and it just lists a beginner technique: 1. prewash, 2. co-wash, 3. wash, 4. after wash, 5. dry and go. You don't deep dive into the ingredients, you just set the parameters, if you're a beginner and you need an effective and manageable start to taking care of your natural hair, with my years of experience here's what I'd suggest." I've been natural for awhile without growth past my jawline. I need a repeatable process of what I'd do: 1.daily, 2. when it's time to wash my hair; 3. What I should be doing weekly and 4. What I should be doing monthly. I'm very impressed with your growth and your focus on natural ingredients but I'm overwhelmed a bit and hope you're willing to point me to a video that (in some way) fits the guidance I need above. As one natural sister to another, I hope you can spare a moment to help me at some point in your busy life as a youtube influencer and amazing mom and daughter! Peace and many thanks for your work.

My apologizes if this question has been asked already. I'm late to the party, but if you clay wash can you do a henna gloss treatment and tea rinse the same day? Or should you pick one ayurvedic treatment each week. ie week 1 - clay wash; week 2 - traditional wash with henna gloss; week 3 - traditional wash with full mask, week 4- traditional wash and conditioner with tea rinse *traditional - your staple products

I never comment on your videos but have been following you for a while now. then as my natural hair journey changed and I big chopped officially recently, my hair has never been this short in my life!! I don't have the same hair type as you so at first I just left it at that, looking at others with my hair type (by looks and such to me) but still watched. I realized due to the nature of you doing Ayurveda I was like hello! that's for everyone! so I got the henna, brahmi, shakaiki, bhringag and fenugreek seeds and ran to half the Indian stores in town lol as one didn't have all. I'm about to do a henna mask for the first time ever in my life! I want to thank you for giving me hope and teaching about hair care in a way that won't harm anyone. in the future I'm gonna check out that shea cottage cause that was the most running around lol. gonna make the oils soon and give one to my mom too! thank you!!!

😍😀Hello, Congrats on your 100k. I tried the henna and indigo. approx. 1 tbsp of salt to the indigo powder. The next time I use the henna powder should I use a specific brand, or should I just make sure that it is organic powdered henna? Also my hair is fine. I don't seem to have much of any distinct curl pattern.. Your hair sure is beautiful!!!! That's how I'd like my own hair to be. At least in length. Presently, I have shoulder length hair. I just don't really know what to do with it. I am wearing it in twists at the moment although my hair seems to insist on coming untwisted. Any suggestions? I've always just worn my hair in a longer bob, that had been flat ironed. I'm an older woman. Help help me work this out. It's a waste of time for me to even consider wearing it flat ironed in the summer because I sweat so badly. It's a private summer year round for me because of hot flashes! I'm determined to take this journey because one thing I do desire is long healthy hair. Red32 Toledo, Ohio

Rqquel Clark, I take the MSM powder (there is a little scooper inside my product container) and I put one scoop in about 4 ounces of Orange Juice and stir really good and drink down immediately. I normally drink two 16.9 ounce bottles of water after taking the mixture and drink about four or five more bottles throughout the day. It has been about two weeks since I have been doing this and I normally do it twice a day, once in the morning and once before dinner or right after. Be careful about how much water you drink later because you will go to the restroom a lot. Also, this mixture will have you farting a lot, so you might need to get something to help with the gas.

Hi Amy Campbell, the best thing to do is Google each of the products or you can join Hair groups such as Hairlista, where women may do challenges using the specific powders or herbs. Another great informative thing to do is to to websites like Mountain Rose Herb that sales these products in bulk and pull up the products, to see how each ingredient works. The BEST and only way you will truly be able to know what works best for you is to TRY THEM for yourself and see how your hair likes it. Even if you have similar hair pattern to someone else, no one product will necessarily do the same thing for everyone. I know personally, I am an identical twin, we look alike, sound alike, think alike at times, yet we can be as different as night and day. How I determined what herbs, powders and clays I wanted to experiment with, I first took an inventory of my own hair. My hair is soft, thin, fine, low density (put a few strands of your hair in water to see if it flows on the top (low density), flows to the middle (normal density) and if if flows to the bottom (high density), then once you can make the distension with your hair, do your research on what products are good for your hair. I want to strengthen my hair, grow it out and cover my grays that are coming in, as well as get some thickeness, therefore, I will be using clays (Rhassoul, Bentonite), Castor Oils (regular and black jamaican) , herbs such as Rosemary, Peppermint, Hibiscus, Amla, and a few others to do tea riinses and infused hair oils and use Henna, Indigo, Cassia, Amla, Shikakai, Neem, Marshmallow Root, Fenugreek , Rose, Orange and Green Tea Powders and built my regimen between a Spring/Summer and then Fall/Wiinter hair regimen. I will also be using oils, mainly Olive Oil, Jojoba and perhaps one or two others, and essential oils (peppermint, rosemary, tea tree). I know my response was long, but I pray this helps from one curly girl to another. Blessings.

Great video! Do you apply the clay to your roots or do you apply it to the roots and to your strands? I couldn't tell from the video. Also if you have thinning hair would you recommend the hibiscus recipe? Or do you have a clay combination recommendation for thinning hair? Thanks so much.

I just tried the Shikakai wash and am in love! I underestimated the cleaning power since I’m new to Ayurvedic techniques for caring for my hair. So far I LOVE Rhasoul and Shikakai clays. I’m adding these clays to my routine because some of my products have coconut oil. I’m allergic to coconut oil. Life changer!

I have fine and thin straight hair and wanted to know what products/herbs would be best for thickening and growth. I’m trying to prevent my hair color from fading, but my scalp gets oily 1-2 days after washing. Any tips for preventing oil buildup is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there! I was wondering if you go through a detoxing phase when you first use the clay mixes? I’ve done the rhassoul clay mix for the first time but my hair has been oily after it dried? It could change the more I use it just wanted to ask!

This video is a game changer. I have been transitioning for a year and it has been hit and miss with trying to form/define my curls. Let me tell you, that Rhassoul clay did unbelievable things for my natural and relaxed hair. Amazing! The only thing is that I should have detangled before applying it. I have ordered the largest sizes of your gloss and tea and am so excited to continue to see my hair transform. Keep the videos coming!

I’m confused, do you put conditioner in and then the clay wash or just detangle with it then rinse and do the clay wash? Also do you use all the clay wash or is there some left and if so do you place in refrigerator?

My only problem is that after my hair is clay washed, my curls are Popping to the GAWDS (lmao) but as soon as I put a leave-in, it frizzes up and I lose some curl definition. Any suggestions?
@curli-lettey4319
@curli-lettey4319 7 жыл бұрын
Natures Intent Are you combing the leave-in in the hair? If so, that's what makes the frizz, next time comb out tangles while hair is wet, then put the leave-in with out combing it in (use the prayer hands method).

You might need to check out the ingredients that are in your leave-in. Try to find one that has mostly natural ingredients or use a conditioner like Giovonnia 50/50 as your leave in. It will take time, however, the more we take time and care to learn about our own individual hair and what products as well as ingredients that our hair likes, the better our hair will perform on it's own. Try to keep your regimen as simple as you can and do your best to keep your hands out of your hair once you style it. Also, mist your hair with water two or three times a day and make sure you are keeping your insides hydrated as well.

okay Karma I'm confused can somebody please clarify she did a hot oil treatment, she got in the shower did she shampoo the hot oil treatment out and then condition her hair and while rinsing out the conditioner and detangling with her fingers put the clay mixture in and massage it and let it sit for 20 minutes? and then rinse it out; and went on to apply leave in an oil, or did she just rinse out the hot oil trmt and just put a conditioner in her hair and then applied the clay massaged it in & let it sit 20mins and rinsed it out.? since it is a cleanser and a nourishing mask I was thinking she would not shampoo and use it as that would be redundant. So can someone clarify that for me? please thank you

Sunshine hello! so she did a prepoo, then she kind of did a simultaneous detangling with conditioner and putting the clay wash in her scalp and on the hair as well, then if you want you can use more conditioner to get the clay out (ie. cowash)and then a leave in and seal 😊 hope that helps
