Clay looks like an ancient vampire who started playing bass centuries ago because he was bored of immortality.

Perfect example of someone who has the skill to throw down, but isn't afraid to step back and play what's right for the song.

I love that hybrid style on bass. it makes every note so powerful.

Clay is every guitarist dream bassist. He really knows how to respect the song, and write around the melodies while still flexing. A masterclass act everytime.

Unpopular opinion but my favorite song off the album. Also my favorite “normal” bass line from Clay. The tone is to die for. Awesome playthrough.

I was wondering if you were gonna play those nutty chords over the solo but the lower roots hit just as hard, also that lick at 2:34 is absolutely VICIOUS Massive props, was an absolute treat to listen to!

Nothing short of brilliant. Clay cN clearly tear it up for the duration, but has the restraint to serve the song, The tone is perfect. Hitting all the right spots to compliment the song along with Clay A, and mixing in the fills for a little spice. Well done!

My sentiments exactly about 2:17! That support of Scottie's wild arpeggiation at the end of his solo made the complete difference to it's prominence on the track! Gober is RIGHT WITH HIM! ...and THAT is COOL! 😎
