This was the scariest case build I've ever done, because I didn't have the instrument here to check...double-check...and triple-check the fitment. But thankfully, Kevin (Mars Mountain) provided a micro-exact outline drawing of the body he built....working from that made it all work out.

Great story, great guys at the forum….. personally I wouldn’t want Gibson (aka modern Kramer) making me a guitar. I would much rather have ESP make a Kayla Kent signature. ESP built some of the early vintage Kramer necks, and are a better company, in my opinion.

Kramer doesn't actually make guitars now any more than Epiphone does. This came out better than anything they would have come up with.
@100DollarHeadacheАй бұрын
The one thing preventing me from wholeheartedly embracing ESP is that they branded their flagship production line E-II. I'd rather not be called second-class when spending $2k-3k. If I ever have the opportunity to get my dream Les Paul Custom, I'd track down an Eclipse I CTM first, and if they've become as unobtainium as an MX-220, considering the ESP Custom Shop before Gibson.

I hope you created some serious seismic disturbances at the Kramer offices and wake some people up! I'm now waiting to see the vid where Kramer comes to their senses. and builds your guitar. Props to the Kramer fans for realizing you deserved the dream. I can understand the issue with doing things the way you wanted. as yeah, a top-mount Floyd Rose requires an angled neck pocket to work right, so for some Kramers, body and neck isn't "mix and match". Keepdoing whatyou're doing, it's awesome, and f'n enjoyable.
