Thoroughly enjoyed this class! Very informative! Thank you for sharing your process for Mishima and watercolor glazing. Learned a lot, and inspired to use these techniques. 😊

To transfer a drawing, I've used carbon paper to trace drawings directly onto the bisque. it fires off and eliminates one step....magic! I also use stamps for scrapbooking and the ink fires off perfectly also.

Saral transfer paper works well too, and it comes in different colors (I use red) so you can tell easier what part is the traced design vs the black underglazed bits.

You can use printable window clings and save the step of transferring the design to the vellum. Just a thought. 😊 So addicted to your videos ❣️

Can you please put a link to the carving tool you used? It was hard to see the tips -- are the straight or do they end in small balls?

Great video Jess, thank you. What brush would you suggest for the clear, brush application, after the underglaze? Also, when you said you waxed after the clear, the Chun Blue, did you dip it over the clear, or did you not have clear in that spot? I wasn’t sure if you left that area unglazed, before the Chun Blue. Would that cause running of the Chun Blue if you had clear under it, or change the Chun Blue color? Thank you! Love your videos and the ClaySharecon! Such great information and something nice to watch during our quarantine! 😊

Please identify the carving tool by company and model # if you have it. I went onto the Diamond core site and could not find it. Thank you.

I also have the same question about only doing one coat of underglaze. I've always done 3 coats to get a good, rich color. Can you talk a bit about this please?

Some underglaze says to colour 3 coats for solid colour. How do i know if I watered down the underglaze, will the colour be too thin and colour will still show after firing?
