I have to disagree with the argument that Clayton could have had the audience's sympathy before he tried to manipulate and peer-pressure Anali into having sex with him. I'm a huge nerd and most of my friends are online, and my sympathies were still 100% with Anali from the start. Imagine coming alone to a strange country to discover you're expected to just stay home all day in a furniture-less guinea pig enclosure while your fiance, who doesn't know a single person in the outside world, is either at work or playing video games. I must say the pets are well taken care of. As someone who loves animals / has small animals, it was nice to see him taking such good care of them. He is a nerd sure but he is not an animal abuser. He also was one of the only Americans on the show who made an honest effort to learn a foreign language. Good for him.
