Clayton - been a fan for many many years and watched all your vids! First off gotta say I’m happy you cleaned that pike properly and showed your viewers the right way to do it!! I knew you would! Pike is the best!! All that 5 piece and other shortcut ways just avoiding the Y bone! Second I feel ya at the end. As we get older ourselves it’s hard to face the reality that our parents age and their mortality creeps in. Your fans aren’t going anywhere. Take some time if need it. Thanks for all you do man. Love your content and appreciate you.

Thank you Clayton for all your hard work and dedication to your craft. I have always struggled with pike cleaning and have never taken out the Y bone, but now I will be changing my method in hopes of getting all the bones out before eating. I love your ice fishing videos and will be using some of your shelter ideas with my own shelter just to make things easier. You are a great influence on a lot of people and we all love your videos on everything you do. I started watching your videos about 6 months ago and have been catching up on your older ones every day. Keep up the great work, stay happy and healthy. Tight Lines!!!

Hey Clayton, absolutely love all your videos. I just lost my Dad Wednesday. I have tons of awesome memories fishing with him. He instilled the love of the outdoors to me and in fact he passed while my brother, best friend and I were in Wisconsin on a fishing trip. We came back early when we heard the news even though I know my Dad would have wanted us to stay and finish the week out fishing. Hard to believe he’s gone but I can be thankful every day for everything he did for me.

A lot of people hate on pike but as long as you take care of it before you cook it don’t just let it sit in a pail full of it’s own slime all day then it’ll be really good! Also thank you Clayton! I’ve really enjoyed your videos and you’ve taught me so much about ice fishing especially that I’ve been more confident fishing unfamiliar waters and going after species I wouldn’t normally go for but I also really enjoy your summer videos as well! I hope all is well!

Severely under rated. Northern pike are the most beautiful fish to look at once caught, the best tasting fresh water fish out there no matter who or how u cook it, & as far as a fresh water fighter goes," Its Got It all!" Including dance on top of the water like a bass. The pike is best bbq ued with real wood & bbq sause tarter sauce for dunkin.lemon juice & butter basting before brushing on the bbq sauce for grilling

One of my favourite ice fishing meals is a bag of parboiled potatoes cut into cubes with some summer savory and herbs de Provence pre oiled in a ziplock bag and a couple eggs after that all you need is a pan. So good. Last time I made it I was back North and I got a couple nice splake to go with. Middle of nowhere me, my buddy, my easy sled and of course the livescope plus a delicious truck stop breakfast and some garlic butter splake
