I’m glad Taku didn’t edit out how difficult it actually is to fish! Patience is key and at the end of it all he got what he wanted! Great work

Mili Diaz that's the beauty of fishing
@Eric-zs6rd Жыл бұрын
The main issue is that he's really was not very good at fishing for kings in this video. He doesn't know how to find fish and thought the issue was his line being visible. That's not it. Chinook aren't line shy. He's one of the guys who goes out to a spot where people have caught fish and just trolls all day hoping to get lucky. He's also really handicapped by the fact he is on a kayak with a mini downrigger. I limit my boat most every trip for chinook. You have to know where to find them and be able to put a bait in front of them. Chinook often hug bottom because the bait stays near structure, but he can't even get there with his equipment.

After putting in so much time and effort, and to finally catch that beauty, you just know it's going to be honored, and treated with the utmost respect in terms of prepping, preserving, cooking, and enjoying the taste. Too many times, with the big commercial boats, you see the fish treated like cheap slabs of meat. I love that rice tea recipe!
