I did my first overnight trip in my new otter and now I have such a respect for you in how much effort that goes into giving us the finest ice fishing videos on the planet. Just to add to your safety suggestions. If using a propane heater you should be running a CO/Propane detector combo of you are sleeping on the ice. These are found in most RVs and I think it would be a good idea incase the propane line or connection leaks as you mentioned.

The fish with the spine issue is caused by a major spike in nitrate/ammonia in the water during the fry stage at the beginning of its life. Happens to aquarium fish all the time. Most don't survive in the wild as they are handicapped and easy targets making them kind of rare. Thanks for a great video.

Hey Clayton awesome way to end the work day in the indoors watching you in the beautiful outdoors. I've been upgrading my overnighting setup over the last 2 years I just recently purchased a battery powered humidifier and it works wonders, I find it makes it warmer in my shack and I no longer wake up with a sore throat from the heater.
