It’s not that easy my friend. The share prices can move drastically up and down in minutes depending on what you’re trading. And you’re also looking out for bigger sharks who can shift the market to their favor and fuck you. What he didn’t cover is positions: short positions (in and out trading, very fast and attentive trading) and long positions (long term investments). One of the biggest hurdles in trading in understanding that YOU WILL LOSE MANY TIMES before you can understand how and why the markets shift the way they do. Most get shaken when they invest and are forced to sell for a loss. This instills a fear from trading that will absolutely ruin you if you can’t overcome it. Losing is a part of trading. There’s no way around it, you just have to pay attention to patterns, supply and demand, and order flow and from there develop your style of trading. I’m still new to trading so my knowledge on how it all works is still developing, but one thing I do know is that there’s opportunity everywhere in the market. Just keep your eyes and ears open and know when to cut your losses if the market is dropping.

Nothing, he has made an "investment" into your company. He may hold onto it, or may sell his investment to someone else at a later time, hopefully at a higher price because you've been doing a good job of operating the company itself.

Though if someone owns a majority (over 50%), then they own the company.

We know behind the scenes that there's much more to it but this way of explaining beats any other methods of explaining anything to anybody. If the purpose is to make people understand the concept, I don't know why most people make it so difficult at explaining something that apparently they are versed at. Thank you very much for this.
