Unfortunately, Cube gave up on promoting CLC in Japan a long time ago cuz they were not making any money. (not CLC's fault, just really bad decisions by Cube) In fact, Cube does not officially recognize Chamisma as one of CLC's albums. Which is too bad cuz 3 members (or more) are fluent in Japanese.

@@joesipos2975 actually they charted quite high in Japan with chamisma at #9 on the oricon charts which is extremely good for a Kpop group. If they were giving other releases after this, they could have been really popular in Japan but cube, unsurprisingly did nothing.🙃

@@crystalclear2975 Yes, the album did do well in Japan and Cube STILL lost money! Which was the reason why Cube did not follow up with any more releases. It is not surprising at all, really. That's Cube in a nutshell. And yes, CLC lost out on a great opportunity to follow up with the success of Chamisma. They could have been very popular, indeed.

Have a feeling they could pull off any language well while singing, they are really talented with languages and they grasp the pronounciation amazingly good. The English version of Helicopter is like the best English version of a Kpop song to date. Wouldn't be surprised if they start recording songs in Spanish too at some point

Apparently, when pronouncing Elkie or Sorn in Korean, it is similar to pronouncing Erik or John in English. There are a few episodes on KZbin explaining how these 2 girls came up with this concept. Type "CLC Sorn and Elkie moments" and watch the videos that come up. It will explain everything.
