My pool vacumn won't work this well its way slower if I passit over a spot main difference I see is tire tracks I tried leaving it in a corner of the pool and brushing the alge there and letting it sit the corner cleared up in a few minutes no idea if that's cause it just ended up spreading out cause it do look bit more cloudy now overall in the pool

When removing algae, we'd recommend vacuuming to waste and shutting off the main drain. Also, check to make sure the pump and skimmer baskets aren't clogged

How did you have any suction not covering the other end of hose and didn’t have the head in water? Also if you turn of the filter to switch to waste it will stop sucking…

Yes, algae is about 1.5 to 15 microns. Only a D.E. filter would be able to efficiently filter out algae.
