I know we've never met, but I love you! NEVER occurred to me to wrap the broom with a cleaning cloth. Will try using strong chip clips to attach as someone commented.

I used clips for a little while but the scratched the paint. Multiple rubber bands in vertical and horizontal positions worked best.

@@randyfrederick1060 Ah...that stinks I guess with the clips you need to be careful to place them where they won't come in contact with the wall or baseboards. As a lazy person, I find the method that takes the least amount of energy, so it's worth it to me just to make sure the clips are out of the way.

Thanks for this video! I can't bend with my very arthritic knees. I was thinking of using a long handled Swiffer, but I'll use this method with a microfiber cloth on my angled broom. You can also do the same to clean your ceiling fan!

They look nice after cleaning but the only problem is glossy floors are a pain to clean because they show dirt quickly. Basic question please-what is the best way to clean microfiber or other rags when they are filthy from cleaning the house? If I wash them in washing machine, it seems like this would hurt the washing machine. Thank you

Hi @Plume1, thank you for stopping by here 😊. So, if your microfiber towels are too dirty and they have caught on some debris rinse them off first before you throw them in the washing machine or soak. If there are no debris you can skip this step. After this rinsing pre-soak them in Oxi-Clean stain remover powder(following the instructions on the package) and then go ahead and wash the towels in the washing machine using unscented gentle detergent that has no laundry additives.
