£18 for a 500ml shampoo where you need use 60ml per wash either in a bucket or in a lance is not economical at all even as a DIYer. The ceramic spray sealant is an instant cop for sure.

Hiya buddy. Firstly thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. A lot of people have been waiting to see the price for these products in the UK. £18 for a PH Neutral shampoo (although our basic test suggests Alkaline at PH9) is more expensive than a lot of the leading popular brands in the UK. Case in point is Garage Therapy ONE shampoo V3 currently retails around £11 and Labocosmetica Semper retails for around the £16 mark. With that kind of competition at lower prices it will be interesting to see if the UK market supports this product at the higher price point. Yes it is a very good shampoo, yes at 60ml through the lance it did serve a pre-wash function, but does it have a USP to justify the higher selling price?

Hey guys! Thanks for giving the CLEAN By Pan products a try. I was introduced to your channel by a few of my viewers who sent me your Katiba review video and that was fun to watch! And I'm happy to see that overall, you seemed to enjoy the CLEAN stuff as well. Lots of hard work, passion, R&D and testing went into those formulations, and I'm happy they have made their way across the pond to the UK now. Here are answers to questions you seemed to have in the video, as well as some tips on future use of the products: 1) The official scent of the Ceramic Spray Sealant is pineapple & watermelon, that combine hints of luscious pineapple, sun ripened peach, coconut and apple. 2) The shampoo is a pH neutral shampoo we designed for regular washing. So it's not designed to be a high pH pre-wash snow foam like a Bilt Hamber Touch-Less or a Labocosmetica Primus 2.0 for example. Those are purposely highly alkaline pre-washes designed for that specific task. In North America we call pre-wash snow foams "decon soaps". So we are already hard at work on the R&D and testing of a decon soap for the CLEAN By Pan line, which will be specifically designed to remove more of the grime and road film before a contact wash. 3) The shampoo is highly concentrated at 256:1 so in the bucket, 15L of water and 60 ml of shampoo is perfect. But when using it in a foam cannon, there are many variables to consider, as you know, for foam output. Type of pressure washer (water flow in GPM), type of water (hard water vs DI water), type of foam cannon (not all foam cannons foam the same), type of snow foam used, dilution ratio of snow foam, the list goes on. More foam doesn't translate to higher cleaning power, it just is more pretty for those who like a shaving cream like texture. So on the instructions, when I was saying 1 oz for good foam (30 ml) or 2 oz for super thick foam (60 ml) in the foam cannon, I wasn't expecting people to fill up the foam cannon container to it's maximum 1L line (33.9 oz). As I never do that. I only mix up 600 to 700 ml of water with 1 or 2 oz of shampoo in the foam cannon, as that's all I need. So you would get even crazier foam if you stick with a 1:10 ratio, which is the typical dilution ratio of snow foams for foam cannons, from most brands. So 90 ml of shampoo with 910 ml of water would be that sweet spot, should you want to fill the foam cannon up to the maximum line. If you want to use less water, try 600 ml of water and 60 ml of the shampoo. That should give you crazy foam. Basically, adjust the dilution ratio for your desired output, like is the case with any snow foam or shampoo. So even though it's not designed as a high alkaline pre-wash, it was still nice to see that it pre-cleaned the surface quite well at that higher concentration! ;) 4) The shampoo has dual surfactants, so you were correct with your observation of that dual stage of foam. A runnier initial layer, and a second layer behind it that clings to the surface for a longer dwell time. That helps with its ability to be able to be used in direct sunlight without staining the surface, and still allows to be rinsed freely with no residue, as you saw. It rinses easily. So when you foam the shampoo on the car with a foam cannon, when you start to rinse, you'll notice that dual layer nature of the surfactants. Those two surfactants each tackle different types of soiling (or dirt). Cool feature. High quality surfactants. It's also fully biodegradable, and none of my chemicals contain any forever chemicals (PFAS) so that's very important as rules and regulations globally are getting tougher and tougher on products. 5) The Ceramic Spray Sealant is very versatile as you saw, as it can be applied on wet or dry surfaces. Applied on a clean, decontaminated, well prepped, and dry surface is how you'll get maximum durability. We say 6-12 months in that scenario as there are so many variables to consider, as you know, with any paint protection, that durability depends on prep, application, conditions, weather, mileage, maintenance, etc. But you should get many months of protection if you follow the instructions. It's a very stout long term paint sealant, so not meant for weekly use on dry paint, as it can reject itself and start to streak. So when we say in the style of a quick detailer, it was just to represent spraying and wiping on a dry surface. Not that it's a quick detailer. We are actually working on R&D and testing of a quick detailer for the CLEAN By Pan lineup for 2025, and that one will be able to be used as often as people want, have less protection (as it's a QD) but focus more on slickness and gloss. As a spray on rinse off sealant, the best way to apply it is once the vehicle is washed and rinsed, while the water is still on the surface, spray one or two sprays per panel, and immediately wash from bottom to top (to spread the product evenly with the water), and then a final rinse from top to bottom. That yields the best results in a wet application. I hope this helps to answer any questions you had, and if you have any more, feel free to reach out to me. I thank you once again for giving my products a fair shot, and also appreciate that you are mature enough to stay neutral and not biased by the drama and negativity that some love to dwell in. If people like my products, great. If some don't like them, that's fine too, people are free to use which ever brands they like. We live in times where there are so many great products from so many brands, it's hard to go wrong. I am thankful and greatful to my viewers who have supported me in this crazy journey and they have made this a tremendous success so far. 2025 will be an amazing year with more new products coming, and more countries in which they'll be distributed. Thank you both and keep up with the neutrality and unbiased testing, and for your positive contribution to the detailing community. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I wish your channel continued success.

Thanks Pan for watching the video and leaving such a comprehensive reply. Your addition information answers our questions and adds value to the review so thank you. I am now going to read back your comments and take some notes lol. We plan to review the rest of your products shortly including the ceramic coatings which really have my interest. Have a great xmas and as we always say at TCB, keep smiling. Cheers and chat soon. Andy & Karl.

The entire roll out has been a mess. If everything had gone as they said it, worldwide launch on day one, I would bought the entire Clean range. As it stands I won’t be buying any. Really changed my mind on Pan and the Thor people. It’s been a real eye opener. Now I stick with real chemists and real brands. Bilt Hamber & Labocosmetica mainly.

Thank you for leaving a comment. I understand your concerns about this brand, and it's clear that many share similar sentiments, as reflected in the discussion here. I agree that much of the negativity-though not all-could have been avoided had the products been launched through a more conventional approach. The issue surrounding the awards and self-designation as "best" has certainly alienated the brand from many potential buyers. However, giving Pan the benefit of the doubt, I am confident that he introduced this strategy with a full awareness of the possible reactions it could provoke. As such, it seems reasonable to conclude that this was likely part of a deliberate global marketing strategy. Only time will tell whether this approach proves to be successful or not.

Really enjoyed that boys. As I've mentioned before unfortunately over here in the UK we are hit with higher prices than the States which is a massive shame but it works both ways with UK brands heading over to that side of the pond. Pricing aside they do seem to be very competitive products in terms of performance, branding and user experience as long as you can look past the negativity on social media etc. As you have said you have to review and show products as if you have no idea who made them and no idea how much they cost and no idea what others have previously said of them to confirm performance before taking into account the cost and manufacturer. I believe you guys did exactly this and looking forward into the new year i will be also looking to test these out with an open mind and without any agenda....we have to hang our hat on what we say on KZbin and social media so its important we stay professional. Merry Christmas gents and a Happy new year!

Cheers buddy. You will enjoy these products. I am testing the ceramic coatings in the new year and I have heard very positive things. I have come to the conclusion that a lot of the negativity of this brand is based on insecurity and potential jealousy. I might be wrong but these emotions can drive people to be very negative. It should also be remembered that whether you like a brand or not, there are human beings behind this brand trying to make a success of their lives and like us they have feelings. Cheers again for the positivity buddy.

Brilliant detailing video today enjoyed that, mine arrived today during when i was doing my maintenance wash on my car. My product of the day was GT shampoo V3, Labcosmetica Perfecta QD superb gloss! Carpro dark side, leave it on for 30min, then buff of the excess with a old MF cloth for natural look deep black dressing (of course tyre prep is the key) But i only ordered the pan ceramic spray sealant, Koch chemie new GS glass cleaner. As my favorite current spray sealant is labcosmetica Cupido, great gloss and durable. Been on the car since end of Oct, have done about 950miles daily driven car to work still holding on strong. Beading came alive last wk after using GT decon shampoo. I use Beneficia odd occasion to top up. Amount of salt is on the road this winter.I think i will test pan spray sealant, using GT decon shampoo, use panel wipe surface. Use a microfibre applicator pad, buff of with short pile 250gsm-300gsm, then second towel final wipe down see how it goes. I believe pan sealant will work even better on a polished surface with all the decon done, not everyone has time to polish. Have a wonderful christmas. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for leaving a comment. I appreciate the opportunity to respond in a respectful manner. It is important to note that not being a professional detailer does not automatically invalidate someone's opinion on a product. I know many professional detailers who use the same products, and their primary focus is often on identifying those that offer the greatest profit margins. Is it accurate to say that someone with years of experience testing detailing products is better equipped to offer a comparison and reach a more informed conclusion? Ultimately, that is for you to decide. There will always be a distinction between professional detailers and enthusiasts who create content for platforms like KZbin, and this divide is unlikely to change. While I am aware that Pan's actions have stirred some controversy, as we mentioned in the video, they have not influenced the way we tested or formed our opinions on the products. Thank you again for watching the video and for engaging in a thoughtful and mature discussion.

@@jamesarmitage8399 James. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I am slightly confused regarding the reference to Pan getting others to do his work. I see it as the polar opposite in that he nearly always is the person behind the demo. The brand is Pan so I can't really see where you are coming from. Getting special guests is something a lot of people do and really if they are 'special' then surely this would suggest an element of credibility to the Pan brand. Maybe it is just me but I default to the positive. Putting this aside and our clear difference in opinion, thanks for watching the video and taking the time to leave a comment. All the best. Cheers.

Thank you for leaving a comment. Your sentiment is shared by many in this thread. If by "they" you are referring to us, I'd like to respond in a respectful and thoughtful manner. We made a conscious decision to avoid entering the "best" conversation, as we believe it is impossible to definitively label any product as the best. We didn’t want to get caught in the "prove Pan wrong" or "prove Pan right" narrative, as it only serves to distract from the purpose of the review. To be honest, I am not concerned with the online discussions or negative politics surrounding the detailing industry. I prefer to focus on my genuine love and passion for detailing. We approached this review in the same manner as any other, and altering our approach would not have been fair to Pan. For your awareness I have never met Pan, have no affiliation to him or The House Of Rag. It is just another brand that I wanted to test and provide my personal feedback. If the fact that I did fuel the fire of people trying to 'bash' the CLEAN brand then I respectably make no apology. This is not what TCB does and we will continue to distance ourselves from this side of the industry. Happy to discuss further in a cordial manner. Cheers.

Thank you Stephen. The products are now available for sale in the UK through CleanYourCar. Considering the prices and the premium typically associated with imports, they do appear to be on the higher end compared to direct competitors. Thanks for watching our videos and the positive feedback. We have a busy schedule in 2025 so plenty of products to review. On the subject of the awards I do tend to agree but alas it is just Pan's opinion. I think awards have more merit when they come from an independent source but alas finding 'true' independence is somewhat difficult. Merry Christmas to you guys and thanks for the first glance at Pan s products. Would be really interesting, yet decisive how the detailer holds up over time. I m pretty sure the price is likely to be steep but it ll be interesting how it fares against top notch products such as Sonax BSD or ADBL SSW etc. I wonder who will turn out as the most likely producer of his line up. In terms of snowfoam/ shampoos, I m less interested. I d go as far as to ppl having the usual suspects on their lists, you can t really go wrong with either, it s more a matter of secondary criteria (e.g. smell... I love ADBL s Yeti for its Polynesian Forest scent but clearly wouldn t call it really better than the cheaper Shiny Garage one).
@thecarboutique2467Күн бұрын
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. All the points you raise are very valid. Yeti is a superb product albeit it is getting more difficult to get in the UK. Regarding the shampoo I agree the competition is strong. Does it perform better than my favourite Garage Therapy and Labacosmetica shampoos?, well that will all become apparent in a future video comparison.

I adopt the same strategy buddy. The sealant used on the wet paint did impress but I suppose the variable that will decide if I use it again will of course be its longevity. It is up against products such as Gyeon Wet Coat and while Wet Coat is a bit more finicky to apply, it does offer good longevity. If the Sealant performs well in our longevity testing, then it is definitely a product I will use again. Cheers.

Brand name is rubbish. OK for shampoo, snow foam, pre-wash products but utterly rubbish for protection products. Pan himself as a 'brand' was too damaged to me by his undeclared advertising let alone awarding his own products as best of the year, so I have no interest in them in what is now a very crowded market.
@thecarboutique2467Күн бұрын
Thank you for leaving a comment. It appears that Pan has somewhat alienated himself from certain individuals by awarding himself personal accolades. While this may be his subjective opinion on what constitutes the "best," it has certainly stirred some controversy. Whether this is a strategic marketing move designed to generate discussion, a misguided approach, or simply an expression of personal belief is open to interpretation. For this review, we chose to set aside the surrounding discourse and focus on the test itself. It's true that some individuals may not watch the video at all, others may have already formed their opinions regardless of the content, while some, like us, approach it with an open mind. Ultimately, this underscores the idea that consumers seek more than just product performance-they also want to engage with and respect the brand and its owner.
