I took your advice about clearing off the counter tops in my bathroom. I used to keep my makeup bag, hair products, and hair tools on the counter because I had so much stuff under my sink and in drawers(stuff I hadn't touched in over 10 years). One day, I got motivation to clear out all the junk. Afterwards, I had plenty of space to separate and store things I use often, under the sink and in drawers. Now I only have hand soap on the counter and I smile every time I look it. It is also incredibly easy and quick to put things away now that they have a designated spot. I am not an organized person in the slightest but when I'm in my bathroom, I feel sooo organized. Thanks for the wonderful video, Brittany.

I wish my hisband would stop and look at it your way. He is a total clutter bug. I am not nearly as bad as him (1 or two books and current projects but pretty much stays small and easy to take care of) he is a tornado. He will set things down and forget about them (we call it plooping things down) and then I go around one day a week and put them all where they belong lol

My son is 3 and my daughter is 3 weeks old and life is crazy. I'm the stay at home dad while my wife goes to work so looking for any tips is awesome. Just found your videos and making a huge change on keeping clutter down and keeping things organized. We tried the bin for toys that you did but when they're old enough they just toss toys everywhere, we have bins now, and they get dumped so my son can find that 1 paw patrol that is missing lol. Thanks for the tips. My son just started to phase out naps *Cries* I miss those naps lol. we spend a lot of son/dad time together which is amazing. Sleep seems to be limited as expected. I either call it "timed cleaning" or "take time cleaning". It's never in between. It'll either be hours or I force myself to crunch time. If I "take time" cleaning, it'll be hours because that's really when my mentality kicks in and I can't stop. It's clean but I'm still going. So "timed" I get the important things done and still have time to spare 🥰❤️

I have 4 daughters, the youngest just turned one! My hubby hates the vinegar too lol that toy bin worked fine when I had one child but now it is such a tremendous challenge not only to keep up with the volume of toys from the grandparents and bdays and holidays, but to keep them w their pieces and such across all ages and actually have your kids be able to play freely. You'll see one day. It is something i still can't seem to integrate and rein in w 4 little girls. We just are constantly cleaning! We have downsized a lot and we do already rotate the bins but it's keeping up w those toys esp w multiple parts etc. I enjoy your videos. Sometimes not having a job can cause lack of motivation and energy so its not exactly true. She really does seem like a bod and mind healthy person. I promise once its COMPLETLY clean and organized it doesnt take much energy to keep it up. Its about catching yourself in the "lazy" moments and MAKE yourself do it. Trust me it will make you feel better. PLUS! like she said, its to make you feel good, not a burden or for others. Make the place aesthetically pleasing to you and you'll love cleaning the place up and making it perfect :)

A day late but I have to say that you are just so inspiring! I have also implemented many of your ideas and methods to keep my apartment as clean as possible. I've had the same problem with my husband and vinegar. He hates it, but it just cleans so well! I don't go crazy and I've tried to limit my vinegar cleaning to when he may be out of the house for a while, but I may have to do the switch as well...
