@@kesohh6530 rebels are legit. Both are good. I love JRL tho.

I would recommend the Magic clip gold over the rebel. They’re both great but I like the Magic clips better as they come with all the wahl premium guards and over the years seem to last longer

Pardon my ignorance, but why do you use the 1/2 guard to set the 1 inch band? Can’t you just use the machine in an open position? What’s the reason you do that?

So I use the half guard closed because it creates a softer line. When you use machine open it creates a much harder line to blend out. There’s no perfect way to do it though you can definitely use just open blade no guard
