What a busy bee, you've been! I, too, prefer to wash / clean my car before road trips. It just seems to make things more enjoyable when I do. I feel you about the pool noodles. Last year, my local store put them out when they put their spring stuff out and I grabbed one then. I came back the next week and they were all sold out! I'm glad you were able to get all of the broken glass cleaned up. Such peace of mind. And what a difference with the cushions! I never thought to do that. I will have to check it out. I'm sure it will help extend the life of your furniture. Regarding ideas for rearranging the room with the sectional, it's hard to tell since we can't see the whole room and what other options there might be but it looks like the way you have it just makes sense and works well. If I am inspired with any ideas, I will let you know. By the way, did you know that Alexa also has a male voice? And that you can use different "wake commands" to use it instead of just saying "Alexa"? I have an Echo and it gives you several different female and male voices and commands. I use the word Echo because when someone would say "Alexa" on TV, it would wake my up my unit and try to answer whatever was happening on the TV! Hi Matt! Thank you so much for this comment! Nice to know I’m not the only one that has suffered a pool noodle conundrum! 🤣 I am glad that I went ahead and re-vacuumed! That piece of glass was a disaster waiting to happen! You are right, it would be hard to tell since I really didn’t scan the whole den! Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention. I will take a picture of it and post it on Facebook for feedback! Funny that you mentioned the different voices of Alexa! I did not realize this! Something funny that I did learn was that you can adjust Siri to different accents! I learned this because my grandson hit my watch and changed it and now my Siri is in an Australian accent!! it’s actually quite charming so I have left it lol! Thank you so much for sharing and I will definitely be posting on Facebook later this evening or tomorrow!!

@@MyBigTidyUp That's so funny about the watch! I'm glad you ended up liking the other voice. Yes, it would be helpful to see the entire den. But, like you said, sometimes we are limited to our options. That is why I don't like mounting my TV on the wall. Once it's up there, you're pretty much out of other options.

Yes! DeDe, I'm the same way- have to check out the clearance items in every store! You were smart to get those jobs done before the heat got too bad. And to answer your question- I keep my car clean all the time... I know, I know.... It was a surprise to see that brown stuffing! Great how it fixed up your cushions. Hello friend!! I am one who cleans my car before road trips. Yes, it is usually messier when we get back, but it usually has to wait awhile before the spirit moves me to clean it out again. That was the most unique stuffing I've ever seen! It does look like cat hair after a grooming!! But what an imaginative way to use the leftover pillows!!

Hello DeDe ! ( again) My player went to next & this was missing a 👍from me . Fixed ! Container shopping makes my heart happy , even if it's just window shopping LOL. Carwash ASMR is like a gentle rain . Cool. I know I started watching this one , I was probably recovering . I don't remember commenting so if you got 2 from me on this ; I'm sorry & you're welcome 🙃. I need a clean car before I leave , but I don't go far . I think I need a My Big Tidy up binge . I expected white filling in the pillow. I take the filling out and put it in large delicts bags to wash . Great fix! But it reminds me I was going to make my husband a arm pillow out of the couch fabric BUT I need to wash it first. Guess where I'm heading now LOL We took a couch apart to see if we could basically & we could 🤣 Never again my friend NEVER lol. HUGS!

Yes, friend, I think the car wash is very relaxing! Also, yes, 100% I expected white filling in the cushions and pillows, not brown animal fur! oh well I really do like the sofa set so I guess I’ll just have to accept the fact that it looks like I killed a bear! Hugs to you too, my pal!

With your nightstand top drawer, I was thinking that you might just need deeper/taller containers so that the taller items, such as those cloth sleepmasks (?), and the cable don't overflow their boundaries. You have one of the tidiest, cleanest houses on KZbin! Unreal. Congratulations.

Hi DeDe, yes to Walmart clearance, yes to clean the car before and after a road trip, yes to a messy nightstand and when I saw that stuffing on the floor prior to that segment of the video - I thought what the heck is that? Sorry but I think the brown stuffing is really odd! Shaved a bear! Lol! I’m with you on the quick tidy ups and the broken glass. I would repeat vacuum several times as well. Glad you found the glass chard and hook before a little hand or someone’s butt found them! Enjoy your weekend even if it’s hot as an oven!

If you have a Menards nearby, you can check there for pool noodles. The one by me (in Michigan) had lots when we were there yesterday. Also, I did not like the stuffing color either. Lol To me, it looked like a big pile of dust from when you get your air ducts cleaned.😅 But the results of your stuffing were excellent! And free!! Take care.

No. It is NOT " just you " about the pillow filling...lol ! I'm the same way, ...it would surprise ( and be weird ?) to me to see it was ... b r o w n ...lol ! That was a LOT of filling for that, Holy Hannah! 😁 But now it's more comfy and that was the Goal ! 👏🏻 In regards to the Road Trip, whenever I went on a Trip, I wanted my vehicle clean. I know it's going get a " Little messed up " during the trip and everything....But I still think when you start with a clean vehicle you just " feel better" ....( Psychological).😊 If I have any ideas on the Re- configuration of your Den. Hi Betty! I did speed it up a little bit because I was afraid it would be boring if I showed vacuuming for a long time. The vacuum I was using was my shark. I’ve had it for several years. It’s not much to look at, but it is definitely heavy duty and gets the job done. 😁I have some cordless fax but the works so well! Thank you so much for watching!

Hello there! Yes, I am a bargain shopper and will always check the Clarence aisle! You never know what treasure you may find! I have no idea what happened with that coffee! Evidently, I need to check the settings! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was so annoyed by that mishap! I hadn’t completely fulfilled my coffee fix, not to mention I had to clean up what WAS a clean microwave!
