Hi model McKenzie ! Love the eraser trick ! I use scrubbing bubbles spray and dish soap then scrub brush on the bottoms of all my shoes then a wiped down with the shine sponge thing , makes people think they were barely walked on lol....

For the fading on suede shoes, I use a mink oil spray to bring back some richness to the suede. Works great!

Ya the nubuck block and brush can be tricky for people to get the hang of. If you have suede or nubuck shoes it really does help to have those things though because balsam will wreck the shoes. I also recommend getting a brush to apply the balsam.

Cheap pool noodles cut into various lengths and placed inside shoes help so much to reshape shoes that may have some creasing, straighten out bent or floppy ankle straps, etc. I simply arrange 1-3 pieces of pool noodles until the shoe looks like it’s original shape and let them sit a while before I clean them. Most of the time it works so well, I don’t need to use the clear acrylic shoe inserts for photos!

You dont want to rub uggs ever. You blot or you take off the dye. I use the ugg cleaner for spots and saturate the suede and blot, I have also washed them on gentle after soaking with the ugg cleaner or a special cleaner for suede or sheepskin.

Suede is tough to clean so I always just try to buy in like new condition ;) less work the better in my eyes ;) unless it’s some Chanel’s or Gucci lol

I watch and enjoy nearly all of your videos but this one really missed the mark for me. To me, none of these shoes were truly “dirty” at all and totally could have sold as is. Anyone can figure out how to use a wipe to rub dirt. How about getting rid of bad sticker residue or sharpie? Or getting dirt out that’s caked into tennis shoes? Or embedded sweat stains on the footbed? Lots of common used shoe problems that resellers deal with all the time but they weren’t covered here :(

Taking the time to get dirt out of the bottom of shoes isn’t worth the time in my opinion unless it’s a high end brand. I would rather sell semi-dirty shoes for a bit less and have more time to find/sell other items and keep the ball rolling than get bogged down with in-depth cleaning. In my experience, a lot of buyers aren’t too concerned with dirt on the soles bc they will also walk on them & lots of buyers will clean the shoes themselves anyway. It’s an opportunity cost. This video is an accurate representation of how much cleaning I usually do for shoes which is a common video request.
