These 5 areas add up to pretty much the whole car, so you basically just said to wash the whole car.

Honestly, if you just clean the car + take photos with a ~$300 DSLR + add a little bit of editing to make those photos stand out, you can pretty much flip any car for $1-2k profit in a weekend.

perception is everything? how about being up front about the damages and how it was maintained :/ Super clean engine bays that were obviously cleaned recently are a red flag to me as a buyer.

How you gonna know it was freshly cleaned? You just gonna show up to buy and it's all looking good. Maybe they have always kept it like that fool

@AJ Hauter What kind of logic is that by washing the engine bay, you are hiding something? I though most of the dirt in the engine, it will hide trouble spot? Guys, please remember to never wash your car as by washing and cleaning it, you are hiding something according to AJ Hauter's logic.

@@David-nb2bc I'm with AJ there's a difference between a well maintained bay and one that got powerhosed yesterday. One is a good sign the other bad.

Or pay about $300 and have a proffesional do it. They have skills and equipment to do it right.
